Simon was heartbroken when his beloved dog became sick with liver disease in Mountain View, California. After multiple blood tests, X-rays and an ultrasound, his vet simply gave up on his best friend. The dog had an unusually large liver and a lot of fluid around it. The vet said Simon should just take his sweet lady home and enjoy her last few days together.
The poor lady was indeed in rough shape because of liver disease. She had no energy, she could not even stand up, did not eat or play. “She wouldn’t touch her ball or toys which she had been inseparable from for the past ten years,” Simon remembers. He truly did not know what to do. “Days later I laid down with her telling her it’s OK if she wants to go, that I love her, and I talked to her about life together,” he says.
Dad fondly remembers the time he first picked up her sweet friend and all the great moments they shared, the walks in the park, playing golf together, and those times where she would fetch the practice ball he would hit for her. Simon talked to the dog about all these moments. “She remembered as her tail wagged a bit.”
One of Simon’s friends suggested trying some alternative treatments. Simon was desperate to try anything and he gave his companion the products his friend suggested but that did not work. In no time she was back to square one. Then Simon came across Milk Thistle, gentle and natural supplement from Pet Wellbeing, and decided to order the product. “It was a race to see if it would arrive before she died. Her coat felt like death,” Simon remembers.
Four days later, Milk Thistle arrived and started working its magic on Simon’s buddy. “My dog now gets up, plays with her ball and toys, eats, and her coat is shiny and soft. She’s almost reborn,” an overjoyed Simon says.
“We are not out of the woods yet, and I am hoping for a complete turnaround, but so far I have to credit the product for saving my dog’s life.” Review received from Simon, Mountain View, California, August 7, 2015
