Description

What is Stimmune?

In cats, as in humans, allergies are common and have a myriad of causes. Feline Stimmune is an herbal formulation that helps to alleviate cat allergies by maintaining natural balance within the body and by stimulating the immune system. It can also be used to treat recurrent infections and fatigue.

About Cat Allergies

Allergies are the most common illnesses affecting cats. They are caused by changed lifestyles, including food and environment. Cat allergies are characterized by the body's abnormal reaction to internal or external stimuli and are caused by many different factors. Allergic reactions can be different from one cat to another, even for the same allergen (agent). Sometimes, these allergens are in the cat’s own body, causing the body to react against itself such as in auto-immune diseases. It is important to try to find the cause for cat allergies, even though it can be difficult. Along with working towards finding the cause, the use of herbs is recommended to ease the symptoms, and also to strengthen the immune system.

Common Symptoms of Cat Allergies

  • Skin problems (the most common evidence of allergic reaction)
  • Eruptions, redness and itchiness of the skin and swelling of the affected area
  • Digestive problems (such as diarrhea and gas)

My cat has been treated for allergies since she was a kitten. She is three years old and all of the vet treatments have failed. The steroid cycle worked halfway, but had side effects. Her allergies resulted in large open sore lesions on top of her head. we even had them surgically removed last year and they came back. After alot of prayer and the purchase of Stimmune, we started dosing twice a day.Within thirty dqays, the open lesion on her head is completely gone and the fur is growing back. Thanks so much.

My house cat is suffering from enviromental allergies. I had high hopes that this product in combination with cat probiotics might help. I put the drops in her food and she ate her food. After 7 weeks I was forced to give another cortisone injection. Her skin was awful and she discontinued use of her litter boxes so I knew it was time for another injection. The thought of using this drug bothers me but she loses quality of life when I don't.

Comments about NHV Stimmune for Cats with Allergies:

My senior cat wouldn't be alive today if it were not for this product. I was ready to have her euthanized since her sneezing spasms were so severe. She never sneezes now unless I forget to give her the suppliment.

One cat looks forward to drops. My other cat I have to mix in food. They have energy and play instead of itching. One is elderly and acts like a kitten. Their quality of life is now GREAT!!! I don't worry about their health 24/7. The stress is off. They enjoy life and now I can enjoy life too. Thank you for your products. If my cats ever have any other problems I will go to your supplements first. I trust you with their lives. Thank you

After 5 months of allergy shots my cat was still scratching and had sores on his back. I started giving him the Stimmune and everything cleared up within a few weeks. He is still taking his allergy shots and medication along with the drops. I would recommend trying this product BEFORE spending an arm and a leg to see a specialist. I wish I had found it sooner! My only problem is that my cat will not take anything so I have to put it in a syringe mixed with a yogurt drink and shoot it in his mouth (once I catch him)!

Comments about NHV Stimmune for Cats with Allergies:

Our two cats arrived in our home with compromised immune systems from having been feral kittens taken from their mother at 3 weeks of age. They went through months of itchy torture, getting frequent nasty looking "bumps" in their ears or on their faces. The Stimmune cleared up the problem completely within three weeks after they were started on it. They have been on the Stimmune for about two years now.As long as we kept them indoors, there was no return of the problem. Now that they go outside, the male cat gets intermittent "bumps" despite the Stimmune, but the problem is much reduced. And if they miss their Stimmune for a couple of days, both cats break out with problems. We mix the Stimmune in with their wet food two times a day. If they are being picky about eating, we give it to them orally from the dispenser (which they don't particularly like). We are very grateful to have this product!

This is my second bottle. I had bought the first bottle because one of my outside cats was coughing. I also had some cats that were sneezing so they got it also. I just mixed into their canned food and they ate all of it. The coughing and sneezing stopped right away but because I knew it was all natural I continued to give it to them. Now I have a new stray and he is sneezing, so I know this will work. Thank you!

I put the drops on my cat's spoonful of canned cat food treat each morning. He eats his treat right down, and he doesn't sneeze or is congested at all the rest of the day and night. There is no guesswork about how much to give, and there's no trying to outfox kitty to get him to swallow it. I wish all pet meds were that easy to give!

Gracie is one of the rare ones I guess that had severe itching about the head from the Vets medicine and again from the Resthyro. The Stimmune was recommended [...]It is working like a charm. Gracie is not itching anymore and is eating good and has picked up a pound or two. I just add the drops of both to her food twice a day and she eats it up. So far there are no cons about Stimmune. Thank you Pet Well Being from Gracie and myself.

                                    Answer:

Our Stimmune is specifically for pet's with allergies. Once the supplement has been absorbed into the system it will help to inhibit bacterial formation, and control infection which may be what is causing the fur loss. It is also great for overall immune health.

She is doing wonderfully on this...she is now constantly sneezing and bleeding out of one nostril along with wheezing. The vet gave her a 2 wk. run of an antibiotic and now the sneezing and bleeding are back. I just purchased Stimmune..can I give along with the Mellit? I hope Stimmune works for this..we do not want tubes to try and detect Cancer. Do you advise this product for us?

                                    Answer:

Stimmune is recommended for allergies as it has known anti-inflammatory and immune-stimulating functions. As her sneezing and bleeding sounds like it may not be from an allergic reaction, I'd actually recommend our ES Clear product instead. It is one of our more popular formula's and is essentially an immune booster to help support their natural immunity against infections. You can read more about the product and ingredients here: http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/cat-cancer. Due to its immune-boosting properties, it's recommended for pet's with immuno-compromised systems. You may also want to consider our Respiratory Aid product: http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/cat-cough. It helps to promote healing of inflamed or damaged tissues of the respiratory system to help alleviate sneezing and to treat respiratory infections. The only warning with these supplements is that Respiratory Aid is not recommended for use with digoxin-based drugs.

Our Stimmune is an all natural supplement without any side effects. It would be completely safe to administer to a pet that has diabetes as there are no ingredients within the supplement to increase blood sugar level.

                                  Hi there,
I am presently using Resp Aid for my kitty..... I just had some left over from using it for my other cat. My vet says that my little one year old siamese has allergies, hay fever (shortness of breath after running around) and she scratches herself. Would this product be good to use for that? If I decided to use it, should I discontinue using the Resp aid?

                                    Answer:

Stimmune and Resp Aid can be given in conjunction without adverse effects; however, I'd recommend Stimmune for your kitty with allergies and hay fever. Stimmune helps to improve their immune functions to reduce inflammation and allergic reactions brought on by the allergens they are in contact with, which would make it the more relevant herbal supplement for your kitty.

I have two cats who have a flea allergy: ie., they are pulling their hair out. I am in the process of treating the flea infestation but I need something in the meantime to stop them pulling their hair out. My vet recommended CORTISONE cream. That has helped but after a week, one cat is still pulling her hair out. Now, instead of just bald spots, she is salivating profusely (because of the cream) AND pulling her hair out. Will this product help in the interim? HELP!!!!! Thank you!

Stimmune does help to address the skin irritation caused by allergic reactions, and can take between 2 days to a couple of weeks to become fully effective.

I would also suggest looking at our All Clear Ointment to help address the skin irritation and help heal the areas that have been groomed raw: http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/cat-skin-disease

How long should I give this to my 8 year old cat. Once he finished an antibiotic for a sinus infection etc. I started to give him 8 drops (16+ lbs) 2xs a day for 9 days now. He's breathing better than he has in a very long time. I just don't want to overdo giving him this.

                                    Answer:

Our Stimmune is completely safe for your pet to take it long term. We have some customers that give their pet the Stimmune as a preventative, others have pets with chronic respiratory problems that remain on this supplement for the rest of their life. However, some pets are also able to stop taking the supplement once the infection has cleared.
