My 14 year-old cat Max was suffering from arthritis pain and refusing to eat. The only alternative seemed to be to put him on the controversial drug, Metacam, for pain. Because it's gotten so much negative press, I sought out every natural cure I could find and decided on Old Timer since he'd had good results with ES-Clear and a tumor in the fall. Within 2 days I could tell a difference in his mood. In about a week he started eating better, and 2 weeks he is eating normally and being his usual hungry self. I think it may upset his stomach a little because he gets quiet after he takes it and wants to sleep. But I am so pleased my kitty is back to eating normally! I love your products and thank you for helping Max. I plan to tell my vet who is holistic about it.

didn't notice much difference over a wee

Just didn't see any change, and stopped because I think my cat was avoiding food with the drops.

Comments about NHV Old Timer for Feline Inflammation:

My 17 year old cat was limping severely from arthritis in his left front shoulder resulting from being hit by a car 15 years ago and the following surgery. I was giving him glucosamine without much effect. Within a few days of starting Old Timers I noticed his limp was improving. He now does not limp at all. Old Timers has been a great improvement in his quality of life.

Comments about NHV Old Timer for Feline Inflammation:

Our 14 yr old Siamese cat "Merlin" was in alot of discomfort in his hips and back legs. We tried glucosamine with minimal effect. After finding the Old timer drops on an internet search I ordered by phone. The easy to use drops are added to his food 2 or 3 times per day. We noticed an improvement within a day. He is back to his old self, climbing stairs, walking in the garden and jumping up to his chair with ease. Thanks to "old timer" for giving our best friend a new lease on life.

Comments about NHV Old Timer for Feline Inflammation:

This product is wonderful.. I had my doubts at first, but I needed something to try for my 14 year old cat. I read all of the reviews for this and gave it a shot. To my surprise my cat went back to normal as if he had never had arthritis. I love this product and would recommend it to anyone who has cats with arthritis. The only down part is that my cat is very difficult sometimes when we give him his meds, but other than that I am very pleased with the results I have seen in him. I just wish the bottle was a little bigger. Its only 100 ml.

I was skeptical but my 16 year old cat was having so much trouble walking I needed to do something. I had given her pills from the pet store prior to this but they made her vomit. Within a few days of starting the Old Timer drops she was obviously more comfortable and in about a week she was moving around normally. I put a few drops in her food every morning and evening and she's getting around just fine.

Comments about NHV Old Timer for Feline Inflammation:

My 14 year old cat, who was very active as a kitten, had stopped trying to jump up on the bed or chairs. She would wait until you picked her up to put her there. She would cry if one would apply pressure to her hind legs. We knew she had arthritis since the daily routine as a kitten was to go over a 6ft fence to the neighbors which had to be hard on her joints.

After reading other peoples responses/results, I decided to try Old Timers. I didn't want to pay for a vet visit just to give her something to relieve her pain. This has helped! She is more active now and her eyes are bright and clear. Moving and jumping is better and we can tell she feels better!

Pushkin, my 14-year old orange tabby, receives his daily dose of Old Timer before his breakfast. For the last year or so, he seemed to be less peppy than before, but since taking Old Timer now for a few months, he seems to have noticeably more energy and stamina, and is able to hop up to his favorite more elevated haunts and walk around with less discomfort, and can almost keep up with his two housemate cats who are a lot younger and zippier. Harmony reigns in our kitty household!

Although a senior, very slim in the haunches and on blood pressure meds, since I started him on the the "Old Timers" a couple of months ago, Mr. Nibbs will jump onto the chair then the table to get a bite of the chive and the basil plants. I thought his jumping days were over. It is a noticeable improvement for an elder cat.

I got this product for my old arthritic cat, Prissy. I noticed improvement the next day. I give it to her in her wet food twice a day. She seems to walk much better for about 4 hours after eating. I will continue to buy OLD TIMER because I know it is giving her relief that is an all-natural product. Keep up the good work for all our fur family friends.

My little Angel has arthritis. I have been giving her Old Timer for Feline Inflammation for over a year. She was a little rickety as far her walking...limping, etc. Since giving her Old Timer, she actually has a spring in her step...is able to take the stairs with much more ease than she has in years. She's getting up there in age (she's 14 years old) but as long as she's around, she'll be getting her two doses a day which she doesn't mind at all!!

                              Answer:

The Old Timer has a herbal taste which is quite sweet. It does not taste like fish or any other meat as we do not put any artificial flavours in our supplements. You are welcome to administer the supplement in your pet's food or directly into he or she's mouth.

                              Answer:

Both the Tripsy and the Old Timer are completely safe to use in conjunction with other convention medication without any concern. The only cautionary note we have regarding either of these products is that with the Old Timer it should be used in moderation in cases of sensitive digestive tract.

                              Answer:

You are welcome to mix the two together but when dosing your pet you would have to double the dose twice a day. For example, if your pet generally gets 10 droplets of each product twice day, you would need to administer 20 droplets twice a day which would be the same amount as your pet would be taking before but at the same time. We also suggest you give the supplement a good shake before each use.

                          • Question:

My 11 year old cat has started to have sensitivity problems with his spine. We x-rayed and determined that he has arthritis in his spine along with some disc damage. It gets aggravated when he is constipated so I have to keep him regular with Miralax. Would Old Timer help him? I notice the warning for sensitive digestive systems - would chronic constipation count or not? (Btw - I used ESClear last year for my eldest cat who was dying of cancer and it was wonderful! It greatly eased his last days).

                              Answer:

Old Timer is a natural anti-inflammatory that helps reduce joint inflammation to help restore damaged cartilage and reduce discomfort in your cat. I would think this product should help reduce discomfort associated with his arthritis; especially along the spine if that is where most of the inflammation is ocurring. Helping to keep his bowel movements is also important so as not to aggravate it further, as you mentioned. So Old Timer with Miralax should help to improve his wellbeing and reduce joint inflammation due to the arthritis. Chronic constipation may be due to lack of hydration or possible be an indication of a digestive issue (normally diarrhea is a more common symptom of a sensitive digestive issue). In his case, I'd recommend to start with a lower dosage than the suggested 1 drop for every 2 lbs of body weight. You can monitor his progress on that dosage and adjust it accordingly.
