About Cat Fleas
Cat fleas love a warm place to live and your cat is the perfect host. They feed on your cat's blood, weakening them. Cat fleas are disease-carrying organisms that can also trigger allergic reactions in your pet. They often affect weak animals and/or those in poor health. Fleas can transfer themselves from your pet to you or to another animal and can live for up to 30 days, the typical flea’s life cycle. Keeping your cat’s living space clean is an important part of prevention and reduction of cat flea infestation. Make sure to regularly vacuum and wash toys or blankets and cushions. Fleas harbor tapeworm eggs so getting rid of these pests will help to keep your cat safe and healthy. Target Spray is safe and easy to use as a preventative and treatment of cat fleas.
Common Symptoms of Flea Infestation on your cat
- Itchy skin
- Red and inflamed lesions, especially in hairless areas
- Presence of pus in the lesions
- Flea dirt (dried blood that looks like black specks) can be seen on the pet's body and surrounding areas.

Comments about NHV Target Spray for Cat Fleas:
I have four cats, all of whom found the product slightly irritating, i.e., they kept trying to scratch at the area where the product was applied. I did try two applications but gave up. I didn't see much change in fleas, but I used it sparingly and just those times.

Comments about NHV Target Spray for Cat Fleas:
I bought the kit. Used as directed. It might work for a single cat household...I have three. Had to revert back to Revolution for control...I prefer all natural...but it worked too slowly for my situation...a bad year for fleas for sure.

Question:
can this product be used safely on a 7 week old kitten that weighs 1.8 pounds?Asked on 12/20/2011 by Anonymous1 answer
Answer:
This product can be used safely on a kitten of that age as long as the pet is weaned from the mother. We also recommend that a pet that age get an immunostimulant as they are still developing. An example is our product called Stimmune http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/cat-allergies this is for helping an animals immunity.Answered on 12/21/2011 by Anonymous
Question:
tree tea oil is not safe for cats, why would this be in this product?Asked on 12/16/2011 by Anonymous1 answer
Answer:
Tea tree oil is usually sold in very concentrated form, so would be unsafe for pets. Our product has only a small amount of tea tree oil, which when applied to the fur, does not pose any concern.Answered on 12/19/2011 by Anonymous
Question:
Are essential oils used in this product? I would love to find a natural solution for fleas, but have heard that while essential oils are safe for dogs they can be harmful to cats. Is this product recommended as a preventative only or will it also be effective during a severe infestation of a multi-pet household?Asked on 10/18/2011 by anonymous1 answer
Answer:
This product doe not contain essentials oils but does have tea tree oil which is safe. Here is a list of the ingredients for that product http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/cat-fleas#ingredientsAnswered on 10/19/2011 by Customer Care from CSR Office
Question:
I have a 9 year old indoor cat who has fleas and I wonder HOW he got them even though he never goes outside. I live in a basement apartment and I am assuming that he may have gotten them through the window screen or perhaps I may have brought them in on my clothing when I am outside. I am not in contact with other animals and I was wondering how he could have gotten them. Please reply. ThanksAsked on 10/3/2011 by Anonymous1 answer
Answer:
Unfortunately fleas are really easy to bring into the house. They can sneak through windows, come in on your clothing and shoes. My suggestion would to use our product Target Spray as a preventative. The use of the Target Spray 1-2 times a week will stop the fleas from nesting in your cat's fur. Best of luck!Answered on 10/4/2011 by Customer Care from CSR Office

I know they are going to start grooming themselves as soon as it is put on them. Is that safe? and it states best if massaged into coat, can i do that with bare hands?Asked on 9/29/2011 by Anonymous1 answer
Answer:
