Last October when I took "Kit E." for her annual check-up @ our vet, we had blood work done as usual since she is now considered a "senior." The results showed her liver enzymes were double what they were the previous year, and elevated 10% beyond the outer limits of what's considered normal range.
The vet had us administer antibiotics for two weeks (yeah, and THAT was easy!), but it the results remained unchanged. After losing our SIX-year-old Siamese a year earlier to kidney failure, the thought of losing Kit E. to liver failure was devastating. After sulking for a day, mostly with Kit E in my arms, I researched "feline liver disease" on the Internet, and Pet Wellbeing had very helpful information regarding its ability to repair damaged liver tissue. A few drops in her food each morning & evening, and this year's results were a complete turnaround!
Her liver enzyme levels returned to normal, her weight has been stable, her appetite healthy and "fun factor" awesome -- we hope we'll have her for another 10 years!!! Funny, but our vet had no comment when I said, "You mean I cured her!?" I think sometimes they just want us to accept the fact that we're going to submit to their expensive treatment options or our pets are going to die. Thanks, Pet Wellbeing, for offering a proactive solution and helping us keep our "families" intact!!! Attached are a few pictures of our baby!

Our cat Matina was sick with liver disease and the vet issued us Denosyl which we use daily. But we will do anything we need to do for our animals so we reseached online and found Milk Thistle and promptly ordered it. We had previous bought some locally but it was mixed with some kind of alcohol which was very unappealing to our cat. This Milk Thistle is specifically for cats etc. and it very easy to administer by dropping on food. The cat does not notice it on the food. One month and a half later after being in the hospital, on IV's and blood work results very bad, she is doing way better than our expectations and eating heartily daily. Is the Milk Thistle helping? Anybodys guess, but it certainly is not hurting her. We will continue to administer and mark her progress. Thank you.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle for Cat Liver Disease:
Our 11 yr old Maine Coon, Rudy has Fatty Liver Disease. The specialty vet gave him 2-3 months and sent us home. I read about Milk Thistle on your site and have given it to him twice a day for 9 months. He has gained back 2/3 of the weight he lost and is back to running around the house chasing his brother, Boudreaux. Thank you for an excellent product, your prompt shipment and excellent customer service. Cindy, Austin, TX

Comments about Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle for Cat Liver Disease:
I bought this product in desperation for my cat, whose liver ALT number was 748 a month ago, and she could not take the vet prescribed milk thistle with sam-e, it made her vomit and not want to eat. After 1 month of using this milk thistle product, her ALT number is down to 36! No vomiting, and she likes the flavor-very bacon-y, I may start sprinkling it on my eggs in the morning, it smells that good! Most important is the good result for her health. Her energy level even went up a bit, for being a senior kitty, and she lost a pound, which she needed to do. Thank you for offering this product. As a first-time cat owner, it is a comfort to know I can rely on a company who has quality products, stands behind them, and has such a friendly, knowledgable staff available if I have problems or questions.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle for Cat Liver Disease:
During a 10 year checkup, blood work, and teeth cleaning, the vet determined my cat, Princess Pepper, had elevated liver levels. At my request, he prescribed a holistic medication but it was in a pill format. As I expected, it was a major struggle and the pill never made it over those sharp teeth. With a small amount of research, I found this website and the liquid form of milk thistle. What a difference - she receives it each morning with a small amount of wet food and there is no hesitation. I look forward to the results of more blood work in March. In the meantime, she is happy, playful and eating well....in fact, she has
gained a little needed weight (now a perfect 10 pounds.)

Comments about Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle for Cat Liver Disease:
My cat's liver enzymes where progressively increasing and her appetite was decreasing so I decided to do something about it by giving her Milk Thistle. I live in Australia and received the product within 10 days (which is pretty quick for international shipping). My cat's appetite began to increase within a week of adding the drops to her water and now 2 months later she is back to her old eating habits. She's also putting on weight of course and has more energy. I haven't had her blood tested yet but I can only assume from her increasing appetite that the levels are going down. I thoroughly recommend this product to any cat owner who has a cat with liver disease.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle for Cat Liver Disease:
My cat, Callie, 18 years , was diagnosed with jaundice and some problem with her liver. I did not want to put her through more test and stress. She was skin and bones. My vet gave me I V fluids to give at home. I started the cat milk thistle a few days later as what I feared was a last resort. She started eating right away. The jaundice is gone and she is gaining weight again! Thanks for this great alternative.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle for Cat Liver Disease:
My 15 year old cat was diagnosed with a mysterious liver problem that conventional drugs did not help. It was thought to be either liver cancer or hepatitis. The only way to tell was with a liver biopsy he was too week to handle and I wouldn't allow. After much trial and error he is still with us 1 1/2 years later using a regiman of low protein high quality brand cat food, 1/2 tsp of natural fiber product, natural dietary supplements for hepatic support, enteric support and whole body support from another manufacturer and of course your WONDERFUL MILK THISTLE PRODUCT. This is the only form that he will eat. He gets it mixed with his canned cat food every morning. This all came about from a lot of online research of mine, consulting my chiropractor about natural supplements and a vet who was willing to indulge me and work along with me. I'm sure he's here with us today at age 16 1/2 due to your life saving product. I can't thank you enough and so does Kato.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle for Cat Liver Disease:
My 11 year old cat, Harrison, became lethargic & went off his food & water. I took him to the vet who ran bloodwork & found Harrison's levels for his liver were moderately off. He was given an antibiotic shot for possible secondary infection & I was told it was imperative for Harrison to eat or things would get quickly worse. I was told to give 1/4 a pepcid daily for nausea, but it didn't seem to be help enough. I found this product after a friend suggested I look into Milk Thistle to help liver issues. I give Harrison 4 drops 2x a day in his wet food. He can't tell it is in there! Hi appetite has been improving to the point he is his old self & running around my home. I am also giving a probiotic suggested by a friend who manages a pet store. I believe these have brought him back to his healthy self!

Comments about Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle for Cat Liver Disease:
After the vet sent me home with pills to shove down my kitten's throat, I decided I needed a gentler approach. (My kitten wasn't very receptive to that at all!) Administering her medicine in a liquid form which can be added to her food seemed to make much more sense. She doesn't even know she is taking medicine.
I am happy to report that after being on it for a month, her levels have come down and the Dr. is very happy with her progress. :) Thank you!!

This milk thistle is truly a miracle worker. My 11 year old cat was on the brink of death when I received this product. She now has gained back the 2 of the 3 pounds she had lost and is back to her normal sassy self. I think with a lot of love and using this product I have saved my cats life. Comments about Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle for Cat Liver Disease:
My cat was diagnosed with liver disease, did some research and ended up in this page. I saw some reviews for the milk thistle product and decided to buy it. (It is a good price, compare to how much I was going to pay for hospitalization for my cat) Once I received it, started using it following the instructions and week latter I saw the results. My cat had yellow ears and mouth, he did not want to eat and was looking extremely skinny, after a week he started eating more and no more yellow appaerance. I totally recomend this product it had no side effects on my cat and he is now back to his normal happy life.

We we were at our wits end. Our cat was vomiting 2 or more times a day and his liver function tests were terrible. We tried expensive prescriptions - not much improvement. Our vet suggested trying Milk Thistle - we searched online - found it - ordered it - and it really worked. With in a few weeks our cat was back to his crazy self... down to 1 or 2 upchucks a week and they were actually hair balls!! The liquid is easy to give, our cat even seems to like it, and it is very inexpensive! What a difference Milk Thistle has made for all of us!

Comments about Pet Wellbeing Milk Thistle for Cat Liver Disease:
My 16 year old cat is alive only because of this product. She had liver failure, and her vet had run out of options and things to give her. So in desperation I searched online and saw all the good reviews this product got. I bought it, praying that she would survive the shipping time. In less than a week, I saw improvement. This was back in April. It is now the end of August, and she is doing better than she has in years! All she wants to do is play, and has enormous amounts of energy. I have recommended this and all of your other products to my friends. You are the only ones I run to, when one of my cats gets sick.
Thank you for saving my dear kitty cat.

"I just wanted to say Thank You from the bottom of my heart. My precious little “girl” Sabrina suffers from chronic hepatitis, and her vet stressed that giving her milk thistle would help her a lot. I happened upon your website about 6 weeks ago and ordered liquid milk thistle your company offered. Not only was it easy to administer, but I just received the results of Sabrina’s recent blood work. Her blood count numbers, while I don’t know exactly what each means went from 2290 down to 278!!! Another count went from 812 to 159! I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this product. Again, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart."
Sincerely,
Ann Ponchak

“My cat Freddie is so cool. He has huge amounts of energy, a great personality and the cutest little face. I always know when Freddie is ill and the most recent time it was worse than I thought as he had liver disease. The vet gave me various treatments for Freddie and I also looked for some kind of natural supplement which someone told me was a good idea too. Milk Thistle was what they were talking about. Soon after ordering, it arrived and I started administering it to Freddie. I am not kidding you, I really noticed the difference. Freddie is well on his way to good health and I just wanted to say thanks and encourage anyone else who has a cat with liver disease to try Milk Thistle”
