      Answer:

This supplement is a topical so you would have to administer the Ouch Away on the area that is infected or inflamed. Once absorbed into your pet's system it helps to fight infection and support the immune system. It can also help to regrow hair that was lost due to skin diseases or skin eruptions.

  • Question:

Is the cat able to lick the area after applying this?

      Answer:

There is no concern if your cat grooms the area, as it is an all natural product, but it is always best if the product is allowed to absorb into the skin rather than be groomed away. One way to ensure this is to apply to a cotton swab and apply directly to the effected area, making sure to move the fur aside so that the product is applied to the skin rather than the fur.

  • Question:

The irritation is near her eyes...is this safe to use near the eye?
    Asked on 11/11/2011 by Anonymous

      Answer:

It is fine to use near the eye, but you would want to take care to not get it in the eye. You can do this by applying the spray to a cotton swab and applying the spray to the affected area. If you do get it in the eye, it will cause irritation but not damage to the eye. You would want to try to flush out the eye with water to alleviate the irritation should this happen.
