Most of the symptoms of Hypothyroidism (starving, running crazy in the night,, etc.) started to disappear after 2-3 days on this product. I just took my cat to the vet to check his blood levels after 1 month on the product and his count is lower and the vet said to continue what I am doing. I am so happy that there is a safe, natural product with no side effects for him to take and it works!! Thank you so much!! Very pleased with this product!

Description

What is Thryro-Up?

Thyro-Up is an all natural supplement that has been formulated to regulate the thyroid gland. It helps to boosts your cat’s metabolism to give back your cat a healthy appetite, all while improving the immune system and regulating body temperature.

What is Cat Hypothyroidism?

The thyroid is a gland in the neck which regulates body growth and metabolism. Cat hypothyroidism is a condition of lowered thyroid function which can be caused by a problem in the thyroid itself or by raised blood calcium levels. Feline Thyro-up is an herbal tonic that stimulates the cat’s thyroid gland and improves metabolism. Its ingredients provide a rich source of iodine which acts as a stimulant to the thyroid and helps to balance hormones and maintain a steady body temperature.

If you suspect your cat has an overactive thyroid, you should consult your vet. Traditional treatments include radioactive iodine therapy, surgical removal of the thyroid gland, and ongoing treatment with anti-thyroid medications.

Comments about NHV Thyro-up for Cat Thyroid Disease:

Have Siamese with Hypo-Thyroid issues , but symptoms mimic Hyper-Thyroid. After allot of money, thyroid meds that made things worse, I decided out of desperation to try Natural Well Being's Thyro-up.
Very Highly recommend this product, with in less than a week huge difference in my cat and now after he has gained back his weight and how hair looks great. Happy, normal looking feline!
Cant say enough good things about it or the website.

Haven't been able to get a blood test for Pepper yet to determine factual benefit or not, but she seems more energetic, the hair loss seems less and she appears to feel better, though she still has not lost any weight --- will get blood test after the holidays and will let you know.

My cat just had both thyroids removed. Can Thyro-up work for him if there is no thyroid to stimulate?

              Answer:

The main ingredients in our Thyro-up formula specifically target thyroid function so I would hazard to state that it would not have an effect on the thyroid. Does your cat have hypOthyroid or hypeRthyroid? The Thyro-up product is only for hypOthyroid and we have a product called Resthyro for hypeRthyroid found here: http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/cat-hyperthyroid

              Answer:

This product is specifically formulated for hyPOthyroidism which is the exact opposite of hypERthyroidism. Our Thyro Up product is formulated to stimulate an underactive thyroid where as the Resthyro product is formulated to calm an overactive thyroid.

Low T4(.04), low HCT, low cortisol, low potassium, severe itching with skin eruptions, wgt loss, dehydration, draining ears, everything else 'ok'....is this ONLY hypothyroidism? BUN and creatine are starting to creep up now. Terribly frustrated for my poor baby....thank you.

              Answer:

We are not veterinarians so we are able to diagnose your pet. The symptoms do point to your pet having hyperthyroidism but it is important to allow your veterinarian to do the proper testing to be sure that is the correct diagnosis.

              Answer:

You can use the Resthyro for hyperthyroidism with other medications or supplements for kidney disease. However, we do have a cautionary note regarding the Resthyro and that it is not to be used with any other medication for hyperthyroidism.
