Description
What is Multi Essentials?
Feline Multi Essentials is multi-vitamin for your cat that provides them with nutrients that may be missing from their everyday diet. Multi Essentials helps support proper digestion, helping with the amount of vitamins absorbed from food. This helps maintain energy levels and the immune system.
Why use a multi vitamin for your cat?
Vitamins and minerals are necessary to ensure all the body's functions are working properly. They can also help animals deal with the symptoms of certain illnesses. The levels of vitamins and minerals needed in the body can vary according to factors like age and lifestyle. These nutrients are obtained by pets through food (e.g. cats can make their own vitamin A from carotenes found in vegetables), but sometimes they are not in the easiest form for the animal to absorb.
Feline Multi Essential vitamins can help give your pet the proper nutrients he may not be obtaining from his current diet. Including pet vitamins in the form of herbal extracts can provide an excellent source of nutrients; vitamins and minerals found in plants are readily and efficiently absorbed into your pet's body. These can help guard against anemia, malnutrition and digestive problems.
Common Symptoms of Nutrient Deficiency
- Skin problems
- Hair loss
- Poor reproductive performance
- Anemia
- Apathy

Comments about NHV Multi Essentials Cat Vitamins:
My older cat has multiple health problems. His latest bout of panreatitis/urinary bladder infection/severe constipation nearly did him in. In fact, his vet hinted on the day before Thanksgiving that she would be available on Friday "if I needed help" -- she thought he might not live. I had started the vitamins a few days earlier and by Monday after Thanksgiving, he was a new cat. Actually walking up stairs, something he had not done in 6 weeks. Went to vet today for recheck and everyone was amazed. He was walking around the exam room, wandering into the hallway, "talking" to everyone, soft and fluffy fur, grooming once again. Granted, he was on other medicines, but I feel that the multivitamins gave him an advantage to take full advantage of other medicines and treatments. His blood work and blood pressure were normal (last week, bp was very very low), his breathing normal without wheezy sounds, his constitpation resolved, and his entire attitude more kitten like. I just add the drops to his canned food AM and PM and he eats it all up. I am very grateful for this product.

Comments about NHV Multi Essentials Cat Vitamins:
Over a year ago my cat Sydney was diagnosed with kidney failure. I was scared and didnt know what to do. My vet said there was nothing they can really do. I am a sceptic so I researched many hours online until I found this site. Yes someone elses testimony helped me make the decision to try Tripsy and then I added the Multi Essentials to help her gain strength. As I write this Sydney is running throughout the house chasing her mouse. I only wish I had known about Petwellbeing sooner. I work in a pet store and now I tell everyone about Tripsy and Multi Essentials.

Comments about NHV Multi Essentials Cat Vitamins:
My 9 year old 25 lb. cat Chunky Punky has lost weight since starting on these multivitamins. I don't know why this has happened since I started giving it to her just to improve her stress level and overall health. She has lost over 5 lbs. in 6 months and is so much happier when on these vitamins. Her weight gain was caused by stress and anxiety when we were divorced. She is much better now and I'm ordering her 2nd bottle of vitamins.

Comments about NHV Multi Essentials Cat Vitamins:
My cat was critically ill with chronic kidney disease in November, 2010. He was receiving fluids subq to maintain hydration and medications to increase his appetite. He had lost about 2 1/2 pounds, was lethargic and had little desire to eat. My cousin emailed me a link to your website and after reading about your products, I decided to order your Multi Essentials and Tripsy. He was receiving excellent veterinary care but his long-term prognosis was not good. I received your products in January and began giving my cat 3 drops of each in his food twice a day. Within a few weeks, his coat was shiny and after a couple of months, it is now thick and soft. He has gained back most of the weight he lost and is energetic, playful and happy. His appetite has returned and he cleans his bowl every time! He is now on fluids twice a week and medications for anemia and nausea. I believe the combination of excellent veterinary care and your wonderful supplements has helped my cat gain weight by increasing his appetite. He has so much energy now he loves to run around the house and play with his toys again. Thank you.

We use the vitamins twice daily, 6 drops each time. It works to give him more interest in things, he is more active again he has stopped losing weight and is getting his appetite back and his coat looks better. He is thirteen + years old and we have him back. We are very thankful for these vitamins and for your research and care. It took us a while to get him used to taking the drops, but it is fine now. We also appreciate the ease of ordering [...] Elliott's family.

I Combined this with Tripsy for my geriatric CRF kitty and saw immediate positive results in his health and vitality. Recently added ES-Clear and the powdered nutritional suppliment to enhance his compromised immune system...can actually see more general improvement. Your products are exceptional and I have told both my allopathic and holistic vets about them because the improvement in B.C.'s overall well-being is, though not huge, none the less, significant! Thank you, thank you for developing the "magic bullet" which is helping my precious little old man to have some quality life extension (along with regular sub-Q fluids with a "vitamin cocktail injection into the IV line port). Comments about NHV Multi Essentials Cat Vitamins:
I Got This Product because my cat lost all his hair after starting to eat nothing but the dogs food. I took the dog food out of his reach and began giving him this medication on about 2 TB of canned food twice a day.
Unlike other pet meds i have tried my cat did not smell the food with the meds on it and turn his nose up and run away. He sees the bottle come out of the fridge and comes running in excitement.
Since using it he has more energy to chase his brothers and has began to grow his hair back a tiny bit.
I am still waiting and praying that he will get all his hair back and return to his old self.

Question:
Is there Iodine in the multi-essentials cat vitamins? My cat is on a low iodine diet and I'm concerned about the kelp in the list of ingredients.Asked on 12/21/2011 by Anonymous1 answer
Answer:
As there is a small amount of Kelp in this supplement and the Iodine amount is naturally occuring it is hard to say the amount that is within the supplement.
I would suggest our Nu-Pet Feline Granular that has no Kelp (therefore no Iodine) within it: http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/nu-pet-cat-cranular-greens
This supplement provides healthful nutrients which help to provide a balanced diet, and boost the immune system. It is not a liquid but you are able to add water to the supplement and make it into a "gravy-like" substance.Answered on 12/22/2011 by Anonymous
Question:
My 16 l/2 year old cat has kidney disease, heart problems (she's on thyroid and BP medicine, Azodyl.
Now she is ANEMIC--help! What could help her with anemia? Any of your products?
Please answer asap. I love my kitty.Asked on 12/20/2011 by Deb from Ashland, Ohio1 answer
Answer:
We carry two dietary supplements that can be added alongside with your cat's food as a source of dietary iron to help with their anemic-condition. The Nu-Pet Feline Granular with Antioxidants is a rich source of vitamins and minerals with antioxidant properties to help reduce cellular damage within their system. The barley grass in this formula is a source of iron. http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/nu-pet-cat-cranular-greens. The Nupro Dietary Supplement Health Nuggets is an overall great addition to their diet to provide additional vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, and essential fatty acids that may have been lost due to processing of their current food. Dessicated liver in this formula is a rich source of iron and is normally found to be quite palatable to most cats and dogs. http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/nupro-cat-dietary-supplement. We, however, do not carry any supplements that is specifically formulated to reverse/treat anemia in pets.Answered on 12/21/2011 by Anonymous
Question:
How long does a bottle last? Can you put the drops in their food instead of the water? I change the water frequently so I'd be throwing some out.Asked on 12/12/2011 by Anonymous2 answers
Answer:
The amount the supplement lasts depends on the weight of your pet as the dosage is 1 droplet for every 2 pounds of body weight (twice a day)
You can administer this product in your pet's food, water or directly into their mouth. To be sure your pet is getting the full dosage each day it may be better to put it in with their meals or directly into their mouth.Answered on 12/13/2011 by AnonymousAnswer:
One bottle lasts depending on the weight of your pet. There are approximately 2500 drops in that bottle. For example if you pet weighed 14 pounds the dose would be 7 drops in the AM and another 7 drops in the PM. 2500/14 drops per day = ~ a 6 month supply.
To administer you can put directly in the amount or offered with a small amount of soft food from a spoon. Do not let sit in food or water all day the doses need to be taken in one sitting.Answered on 12/13/2011 by Anonymous

While there is no added Iron, the herbs in this mixture are rich in vitamins and minerals including Iron. http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/cat-vitamins#ingredientsAnswered on 11/1/2011 by Customer Care from CSR Office

Question:
My 20 year old cat has hyperthyroidism, and is on resthyrol. Her energy came back and her appetite, but she is still not gaining weight. She has always been small, but she has gone from 7.5 lbs to 5.5. I am wondering whether vitamins, particularly potassium, might help her gain weight. Do any of your products contain potassium? Also, your catfood contains over 33% protein. I heard that it is not good to give cats with kidney problems high protein. Is 33% considered a high percentage? Many thanks for your info. I am so very happy I found your site and Resthyrol. Do you have trial sizes or samples of your catfood? They seem to come in such large packages which is very chancy when trying to feed sick, picky eaters.Asked on 9/15/2011 by Renny1 answer
Answer:
Our Multi Essentials Cat Vitamins are a great way to ensure proper nutrition.
http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/cat-vitamins
A lot of vets will suggest low protein diets for kidney issues. The method of processing and quality of a protein is very important when selecting a food. Prowl has a very high quality protein, Hormone and Antibiotic free chicken, rather than animal byproducts which are usually the source for other sources. It is dehydrated rather than processed. The Prowl cat food should not cause any issues for the kidneys.Answered on 9/16/2011 by Customer Care from CSR Office
