I give Comfort Gold to all of my older cats that have various pain issues, especially arthritis. It truly seems to make them more "comfortable" and calmer in general. I was seeing my 16 year old start to pull away when I went to pet her, she wouldn't eat enough, and was loosing too much weight. Now she doesn't hesitate to ask for a good message, she is eating much better and has gained back the weight she lost. I think her coat is even better than it was. My big 13 year old boy cat that was born with just 3 legs, was slowing down and acting like he was in pain. The Comfort Gold has him running around and jumping up like he did when he was younger. His huge, full tail (I think it is larger than normal as a counter balance!) had lost most of it's medium long hair and now is back to being full and lush. Most of the cats will take it in their food, but I have to give it to the 16 year old from the dropper, because she doesn't like the taste.

My cat is fourteen and suffers from Diabetes and Arthritis. Two years ago the vet didn't give him much hope. Well he's still going. Directions
Administer orally up to four times daily for the first 72 hours. After that, administer twice daily for the duration of the discomfort.
Give one drop for every 2 lb (1kg) of body weight up to 50 lb. Over 50 lb, add one drop per additional 4 lb (2kg).
