Description
What are Dog Allergies?
Every allergy that troubles humans has its counterpart in dogs. This includes allergic reactions to chemicals and drugs, contact dermatitis, insect bites and food allergies. An especially common problem in dogs is an allergy to flea bites.
Common Symptoms of Allergies in Dogs
- Hot spots or eruptions on your dog's skin
- Anal itching
- Itching and inflamed toes or ears
- Digestive problems, including gas or diarrhea
Dog allergies may be caused by a number of factors including poor diet and changes in your dog's lifestyle (including environment and food). When a dog has an allergy, his body develops and abnormal reaction to substances. Different dogs may react very differently, even if they’re allergic to the same thing.
Often, the "substance" a dog is allergic to is in its own body. The dog's body then reacts against itself, just like in the case of an auto-immune disease.
It's often tricky to determine exactly what a dog is allergic to. But it's important to make the effort, as much discomfort can often be avoided simply by ensuring your dog isn't exposed to the allergen.
Herbal formulas, such as Canine Stimmune, are also very helpful in calming the symptoms of dog allergies. It goes a long way to soothing your friend's intense discomfort caused by allergies. It's also great for supporting the immune system.

He can go outside again without worry of getting welts all over his underside which would send him into an allergic scratching frenzy.

Comments about NHV Stimmune for Dogs with Allergies:
I have been using Stimmune now for over a year. Before it's use, my Bichon would get ear infections and asthma like coughing due to allergies several times a year and always upon arriving in Florida. I am happy to report that 10 drops of Stimmune twice daily have saved me a fortune in vet bills and more importantly, saved much distress for my little one.
Thanks for a great product,
D. Butler

Comments about NHV Stimmune for Dogs with Allergies:
This is very good. Our little 7 lbs., 12 years old toy poodle has very bad allergies and we saw this and decided to try it. We give it to her twice a day and she is much better. she likes the taste and looks forward to the times she gets it. I'm very glad we foud this product and plan to keep her on it. It lasts a long time for her, as she's so small. If your dog has allergies, I think you would benefit from the purchase of this product.

Comments about NHV Stimmune for Dogs with Allergies:
Your Story: I have been giving Louie Stimmune since the middle of June (almost 2 months now). His skin has calmed down and is not spotted up. His eyes still have dark circles around them but they are not swollen and runny. He is not scratching his face on everything as much as he used to. He is still sensitive when you rub him but looking at Louie now compared to the beginning of this allergy season, he is 80% better. I will keep using Stimmune on Louie because I know I will continue to see improvement in his condition. With the heat, humidity and high allergy count, he looks so much better than past years. His daddy and mommy do a lot of scratching throughout this time of the year. After seeing the improvement in Louie, I have now started those two on Stimmune also.
Thanks,

I noticed a difference in my sheltie after one day of use. She has had skin problems for some time now and no one could seem to get to the root cause. This is clearing up her skin and she is more playful so obviously is feeling better.

Comments about NHV Stimmune for Dogs with Allergies:
Duke is our 5 1/2 year old border collie/lab mix and he has suffered from allergies since he was a pup. At the end of last year his allergies never cleared and lead to bacterial skin infections. Open and ozzing sores on his back and belly and infection in his ears, Duke was put on antibiotics and ear drops for a month. This only cleared it for 3 weeks and then the infection was back. He was put on antibiotics again. When the Stimmune arrived we put Duke on it right away as per instructions and never missing a day. One bottle is finished and a second has been started and we have a new pup. His fur is thick ,shiny and looks like velvet. There is very little shedding. He is more playful. The last of the scabs have flaked off and no new ones have developed. I wish I had a before and after picture. Stimmune works!

Comments about NHV Stimmune for Dogs with Allergies:
It did take a little while (like 4 weeks) for the product to kick in but my dogs coat looks amazing and shiny again. she has little to no bumps from allergies on her body, no more iching, and overall looks and feels better. I will continue to use this product, its way cheaper then an allergy test and healthier then steriods!!!
It is a little difficult to feed to my dog, but not unbarrable, putting it in her food sometimese helped (but you have to make sure your dog eats all the food!)
I was desperate for a natural solution for my 1 year-old Pugs allergy. I had got to the vet twice, where they put her on rounds of steriods, (and i did not want to do that again) and then they wanted me to get an allergy test (cost=$400+), So instead I started looking for natual alternatives to help. I ran across Stimmune for Dogs with Allergies, and read the reviews and thought i would give it a shot.

Comments about NHV Stimmune for Dogs with Allergies:
Stimmune works very well for our dog with year-round allergies. When seasonal allergies are severe, we must supplement the Stimmune with other allergy medications, however, the duration of the seasonal allergies has been reduced greatly by using

Question:
Will this help with a dogs allergic runny nose and sneezing - or only allergic skin and gastric problems?Asked on 1/26/2012 by Anonymous from Whitney Point, NY1 answer
Answer:
The Stimmune can be helpful in both cases. If you find that it is a chronic respiratory issue I would suggest using the Stimmune in conjunction with our Respiratory Aid: http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/dog-cough-medicine As it may offer additional support to clear up congestion and prevent infection.Answered on 1/30/2012 by Coreena
Question:
My daughter has a pure white pit bull that gets all pink to red on his face and under his mouth and between his toes and its gets like this when he goes outside. He has been given so many steroid shots that his weight is out of control. What can you reccomend for him to take that will help so the shots can be eliminated. Thank You RoseAsked on 1/6/2012 by Rosie from Chicago,Il1 answer
Answer:
I would suggest our Stimmune as it helps support the immune system, prevent infection and and supports healing due to allergies. I would also suggest to use with a topical treatment such as our Neem Soap: http://www.naturalwellbeing.com/pets/products/dog-natural-soap -- This will also aid in fighting fungus and bacteria, kills germs and eliminates odors.Answered on 1/9/2012 by Coreena
Question:
My 2 yr old Snauzer Mini has had this allergy seemingly from birth. We have suspected it comes from grasses and shrubs but are hard pressed to pin it down to that.
He is under vet care, but his attitude seems to be don't bother me with that. Nor curable.
Seems that thru the night his eyes fill up with fluid and secretes first around his eyes in a dark black "tar pit mess. It with stick to anything it touches, yet it is almost impossible to get off his fur. It will, on a bad night, run from both eyes back to and into his ears. He does a lot of licking of his body most anywhere he can get. Never have seen or heard of it before & this is our 3rd mina plus a Wire Hair. We moved to Myrtle Beach SC and acquired him, indicating it has some connection to the environment and toporgaphy here. Can any one tell us about this and what we can do to at lease somewhat control. Much, much
appreciated. Takes me two to 5 hours DAILY to somewhat clean is face.Asked on 11/30/2011 by Berle the pearl.1 answer
Answer:
As we are not Vets we are hard pressed to diagnose a pet. If it is indeed allergies you may want to try the Stimmune to see if it offers any comfort to your pet. You may also want to look into a diet change. One that has no grains or gluten, an example is the Force dog food. http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/force-dog-food In the end we strongly suggest getting your pet to a Vet for a qualified diagnosis.Answered on 12/1/2011 by Anonymous
Question:
can i use stimmune in conjunction with your nupro product? Have a westie who suffer hot spots from chronic yeast infections...Asked on 11/29/2011 by Anonymous1 answer
Answer:
Yes you can use Stimmune along side the Nupro as well as other supplements and conventional medications. You may also want to discuss with your Vet in regards to changing to a diet with no grain if you have not done so already. Here is an example that we carry of a great food that may help your pet called Embark http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/embark-dog-foodAnswered on 11/30/2011 by Anonymous
Question:
My dog does a reverse sneeze. Is that some type of allergy or some type of repiratory problem? What is good to help stop it?Asked on 11/29/2011 by Anonymous1 answer
Answer:
We could not guess as to the cause of this symptom. It is possible it may be allergies but it may also be caused by a number of other factors. We recommend a visit to a Vet to get a proper diagnosis. We would recommend Stimmune if indeed it was allergy related but also have something called Respiratory Aid that you may wan to look at as well http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/dog-cough-medicineAnswered on 11/30/2011 by Anonymous

Question:
Hi, my dog has an allergies problem. since we adopted him, his skin became black and every morning he is scratching all his body. The vet used to give him Prednizone BUT it didn't solve his problem, except he gained weight. I am willing to buy Stimmune, I would like to know about the dosage: He weight 21-23 lbs so how many drop do I have to administer, how many times a day? Thanks.Asked on 11/12/2011 by Laurence from NM1 answer
Answer:
The dose for that size pet is 11 drops in the morning and another 11 drops in the evening. The eye dropper has a 0.5 mL marker on it and that equals 10 drops.

Question:
My 12 year old Shih Tzu is taking Tripsy now for her kidneys and it has helped that problem, but she is so itchy, she keeps us awake at night with her licking and scratching. We've tried Benadryl, but no difference. Will Stimmune work with the Tripsy?
I'm not even sure if it's allergies that are causing her itching, but her ears and eyes are also bothering her.Asked on 10/28/2011 by Lexy from Burlington, Ontario1 answer
Answer:
There could be a number of factors that is causing the itchiness. Allergies is a likely culprit but a Vet should determine that. I would still recommend the Stimmune as it can be given along side the Tripsy.
