Description
Canine Hyperactivity and Stress
Is your dog unusually anxious or excitable? Does he drive you crazy with his running around in circles, barking and jumping? Does he show the symptoms below?
- Excessive aggression
- Changes in dog’s behavior
- Mood problems
- Hyperactivity
To a degree, these behaviors are to be expected, especially in certain breeds of dogs and with young dogs. But at some point, such symptoms go beyond acceptable levels and enter the realm of canine hyperactivity.
Canine Separation Anxiety
Does your dog exhibit the symptoms below?
- Distress when you leave him alone
- Scratching at doors or woodwork
- Chewing your clothing (shoes, slippers, etc.) when you’re away
- Chewing furniture
- Excessive barking while you’re gone
- Soiling the floor even though he’s housetrained
- Attempts to escape
- Possible loss of appetite
- Possible loss of interest in activities
If this sounds familiar, chances are your dog is suffering from canine separation anxiety. It’s a common condition in many breeds of dogs. Though it’s normal for dogs to miss their masters when they’re away, it can be a real problem when obsessive or destructive behaviors result.
The natural solution for all stress/anxiety disorders in dogs
Canine Lesstress is an all-natural herbal formulation, which very effectively:
- Calms dogs, reducing hyperactivity
- Reduces anxiety, including canine separation anxiety
- Improves a dog’s disposition
- Reduces destructive behavior
- Boosts a dog’s immune system
Though Canine Lesstress can definitely help reduce your dog’s anxiety levels, it’s even more effective when used in combination with behavioral conditioning and lifestyle changes. Here are some hints for treating canine separation anxiety:
Take your dog for a walk before leaving him alone. This way, he’ll learn to associate your departure with a positive activity.
Exercise also has the benefit of making it easier for your dog to sleep while you’re away. If possible, start by only being away from your dog for short periods. Then gradually increase your time away. His confidence should gradually increase as he learns that you always come back.

This is a product I recomend regularly to all clients and new puppy families.
Less Stress is easy to administer and the directions on the packaging are easy to follow. I use this whenever flying a dog somewhere. I also use and recomend this product for crate training. When a new puppy family asks me about their puppy being sad when they leave, I tell them this will help immensely. I have personally found this product to be a very natural way to eleviate the extra stress put on a canine when they are left home alone or when they have problems with separation anxiety.
This product works very well for my lab that is attached to my husband and is sad when he heads off to work.
if you have a long time canine family member that is sad when you separate or you are a brand new puppy family, this product is a must have for your pal.

I've got two dogs - one scottish terrier (13+ yrs) and a new youngish dog (1-4 yrs, Unknown mix - terrier). I've been using this product for 3 weeks. I see a difference with my mixed terrier. I think this works very well. He's new to the house and was very stressed. He's still scared of everything but I believe this is helping. He can actually settle down and not jump at everything little noise.
My scottie is old with numerous troubles. I've noticed with her that this product seems to have the opposite effect with her. Especially at night. Very restless and unsettled, which she wasn't before. She has arthritis so I thought this might help her, plus the stress of a new dog in the house.
I'll keep using this on my boy, but not with my older girl. As usual, some things can work for one dog and not for another.

Comments about NHV Lesstress for Dog Anxiety:
After losing her sibling (littermates) Ebony was very 'stressed', wouldn't eat, play etc. but all she did was pant, so I spoke to a young lady at WellBeing and she explained LessStress and what we could expect. I bought the bottle and lo and behold, it helped Ebony so much I continue to give it to her twice daily..I would recommend this product 100% to anyone at anytime.

I am sooo pleased with the results!!! I have a ten yr old shih tzu with anxiety problems and after trying prozac and other harmful drugs [some with gastric side effects] came upon a "better mouse trap" so to speak.
Our little "Bubba" does not take pills very readily and the ease of putting a few drops in his food as well as the very obvious positive results makes this product a "keeper"..
I have spoken to my groomer and others about it and plan to continue using it indefinitely.
Thank you for making such a beneficial and safe product!

I've been using Lesstress for about two months now. I give it to my 13 yr old dog in the evening with dinner and again before bed. He no longer whines constantly all evening like he's restless. He will actually settle down and take a nap. Same with bedtime, he no longer whines but settles down very quickly to sleep. I'm happy to have a much happier dog again. Thank you Lesstress.

Question:
I have a lab mixed w/pit bull, and she has SEVERE separation anxiety. She has already destroyed my house twice and I have tried medications like amitripiline and prozac with no sucess. When I leave or she knows I am leaving, she starts panting really hard, and when I leave and come back home, she has broken out of her crate and has destroyed my house. Will this help with her SEVERE case of SEPARATION ANXIETY?? I need help!!! Please let me know. Thanks!Asked on 1/30/2012 by Anonymous from Forestville, MD1 answer
Answer:
This supplement is specifically for pet's with anxiety issues. It contains herbs that are formulated to be useful for canine nervous disorders, excitability and dog anxiety It is also a great product for overall immune health.Answered on 2/1/2012 by Coreena
Question:
Maggie is a 2-year old Great Pyrennes. She is quite calm and laid back most of the time. However, when I leave her home alone (but with another dog companion and 2 cats), she tears up the house. I have been putting her in a crate, but she hates it. When I return home, her drool has completely covered the bottom of the crate. Once she gets out, she heads for the water bowl and drinks until she chokes. Will Lessstress help? I'm not sure I can afford to give it to her indefinitely since she is such a large dog and would require a good deal of the product.Asked on 1/27/2012 by Anonymous1 answer
Answer:
That sounds like it may be pent up energy or stress-related symptoms associated with seperation anxiety that Maggie is expressing. Lesstress is formulated with herbs to help pet's who may suffer from separation anxiety, hyperactivity, or just stress and anxiety in general. The herbs in the formula help to alleviate anxiety by producing a sedative-like effect on their nervous system to regulate hormone secretion and also has herbs with known anti-inflammatory and immuno-stimulating properties. You can read more here: http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/dog-anxiety#ingredients We'd suggest following the dosage for at least 2 - 4 weeks to see some improvements, as the longer it's used, the more it is able to accumulate within the system to see improvements.Answered on 1/30/2012 by Linda
Question:
I have a 4 year old Lab who is overly friendly with people kids and other dogs. With adults she runs to greet them and nudges or licks their hands to get their attention. I can usually get her under control in a minute or so. But with kids and other dogs it is almost impossible to keep her under control she just wants to get in their face and lick and romp with them. We have been to many training classes and it does not seem to help. I use an electronic collar when we go to the park and that does help but I really hate using it. I don't know if this is an anxiety problem or not. Do you have a recommendation?Asked on 1/5/2012 by Bill from Lexington, VA1 answer
Answer:
Our Lesstress product is formulated specifically to assist with these issues however you can only achieve success when combined with consistent training to curb this behavior. The Lesstress is formulated for ongoing long term use. For overly hyperactive dogs it may be necessary to work one on one with a trainer rather than classes.Answered on 1/12/2012 by Mgr Customer Care from CSR Office
Question:
Is this a product I would use for a dog that just went through the New Years with neighbors shooting off fireworks and some sounded like cannons. It took me hrs. to call her down plus the stress she went through. I use the milk thistle so I was ogoing to order more and wanted to ask about a safe stress drop/pill.
Thanks June SewellAsked on 1/2/2012 by Anonymous from Tucson AZ1 answer
Answer:
This is a product that takes time to be absorbed into your pet's system. It is not for a one time use but rather for a pet that is anxious on a daily basis. Once metabolised into the system it will help reduce anxiety, support the immune system and improve your pet's disposition.Answered on 1/4/2012 by Coreena
Question:
I recently inherited a dog whose owner died and whom I have taken care of for years. Anyway, we had to move to a new home - she is having great anxiety. She is 12 - Husky. She also has very elevated liver enzymes. Would you see this product as something her liver could not process? Any side effects?Asked on 11/11/2011 by Anonymous1 answer
Answer:
This is an all natural, herbal supplement that contains a combination of herbs that do not have any adverse side effects nor complications to the liver. As a matter of fact, Reishi Mushroom in this formula has been known to improve heart and liver functions and chamomile is a common herb used for liver detoxification. This is a good supplement to use to aid in alleviating stress and anxiety by calming the nervous system and reducing harmful effects to the body system by long-term/chronic stress. If she also has elevated liver enzymes, I'd highly recommend our Milk Thistle supplement to help support liver health and functions: http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/dog-liver-disease. Milk Thistle has been traditionally used for humans and animals in cases of liver disease/failure.Answered on 11/11/2011 by Customer Care from CSR Office
