Our 12 yr old Schipperke started showing signs of arthritis a few years ago. After laying for awhile, she would have a difficult time standing and it seemed to take some time for her to "walk it off." We noticed within a couple of weeks of taking this product twice a day, that she wasn't having trouble getting up when called. As a mature dog, she is still eager to fetch and play seeming to have energy of a much younger girl.

In my own self evaluation, I decided that my Baby Freckles had arthritus? I tired this product, and while she is taking it, she can now chase the school bus across the yard. She still has a little trouble getting up from a laying down position, but once she is up, she can go ! Before she stumbled over her own feet, and even fell often. I am afraid to take her off of this, it is rather expensive, but seems to do her some good, so I would reccommend it to another dog lover if you feel they have some trouble walking. I also give her some hip and joint medication, and between the two, it keeps her walking and moving quite well.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing Agile Joints - Dog Arthritis and Joint Support:
This product worked a miracle on my 14 year old American Eskimo who hurt her leg and could hardly walk. Since she has Cushing's I did not want to give her the usual vet medicines and Bufferin was only helping a little. After using Agile Joints for 2 weeks my doggy started to play with my puppy and actually ran a little. She is doing great.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing Agile Joints - Dog Arthritis and Joint Support:
I started using this last year when my 13 yr old Boston Terrier would hurt her leg or neck (where there is some arthritis) when she'd play tug of war with our Boxer. She'd limp and I was afraid she'd be too fragile. I looked online and found this site, read reviews and felt it was worth trying and would be safe since it was made of herbs that I was familiar with.. It took a little over a week to see improvement. She was running around chasing my other dog and still playing tug of war and jumping around. I take natural supplements and do not want my dogs taking steroids when there is a better way, so this is her daily routine. We don't miss a day. We put the drops on a small piece of bread so we know that she's taken it. Love this stuff and would highly recommend it.

this is a great product. our little girl is 17 yr old border collie that has a hard time getting up and down with joint pain. we feel much better giving her an all natural pain reliever as oppsoed to the commercial canine aspirin. it seems to be much gentler on her stomach and it is very effective.

the product has helped my dog move pain free. She has become more active as a result of being pain free. I am pleased with how this product works.

Description
What is Canine Arthritis?
Dogs frequently suffer from arthritis. If your pet has this condition, his joints will become inflamed (swollen) and painful as the cartilage and connective tissues of his joints slowly break down.
Warning signs that your dog is suffering from arthritis include a reluctance to stand up or climb stairs. Other telltale signs of canine arthritis include:
- Your dog favors one side of his body
- Limping, especially when he first gets up
- Swollen joints (especially the hips)
- Reduced appetite
- Aversion to being touched or petted
- Your dog loses interest in activities he previously enjoyed: running, swimming, playing, etc.
Large breeds of dogs tend to suffer from arthritis more often than smaller breeds. This is probably due simply to the extra weight and stress on the joints of larger breeds. What’s less clear is why purebred dogs – particularly males – suffer from canine arthritis more often than mixed breeds.
There’s no way to entirely eliminate the risk of canine arthritis. But as a pet owner, you can reduce the risk (or severity) by ensuring your dog gets plenty of regular exercise, without overdoing it. This will help keep your dog's joints healthy and well lubricated. It’ll also keep him from becoming overweight, which tends to make matters worse.
What is Agile Joints?
Agile Joints was formulated to address mobility and help maintain a normal range of motion in the joints. Older pets in particular may benefit from extra support. It is common for our pet friends to require additional support for joints and connective tissue.
From our holistic veterinarian... "In my practice, almost all the pets over the age of ten need some degree of support to maintain normal cartilage"
What is Agile Joints used for?
Appropriate for all joints. Commonly used for shoulders, hip, knees, ankles, elbows and vertebrae. This proprietary blend of herbs works effectively to support the physiology of the joint tissues in all sizes and breeds.
The joints of the body are made up of the bones of the joint, cartilage that covers the ends of the bones, ligaments and a joint capsule that contains synovial fluid. This fluid works to lubricate the joint and works as a shock absorber when your pet walks, jumps and plays. All of these components need to be comfortable and working smoothly for the healthy function of the joint. Additionally, normal circulation into these areas helps to transport nutrients in and takes waste products out.
Agile Joints nourishes the components of the joint tissue by supporting the underlying normal physiology. It also reduces free radical formation that can affect the joint.
A note from the Doctor...
- Agile Joints may work very effectively given on its own. If you think your pet requires additional support for joint comfort and mobility, consider using a supplement that contains glucosamine, such as Nupro Joint Supplement http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/joint-supplement-large-breed . Agile Joints works in unison to allow greater absorption of these ingredients.
- A good diet goes a long way for maintaining healthy joints and keeping weight within a healthy range. Excess weight can put more stress on the joints.
Can my dog take Agile Joints with prescription drugs?
If your pet is taking prescription drugs, it is advisable to consult a veterinarian before using the product.

Ingredients
- Turmeric rhizome (Curcuma longa)*: This powerful herb has been the subject of many studies in recent years, particularly for its usefulness in joint health. It has been found to target key pathways that affect the joint. It is highly antioxidant and also used for general immunity and digestive health.
- Devil's Claw tuber (Harpagophytum procumbens)*: One of the main herbs used for the joints, both in animals and humans. Devil's Claw contains high values of a constituent called iridoid glycosides. This constituent has been shown to have a significant affect on all joints of the body.
- Sarsaparilla root (Smilax officinalis)*: Often used by athletes to improve performance, this well known herb contains specific components that keep joints moving easily.
- Dandelion root (Taraxacum offinicale)*: Full of minerals, Dandelion root works in a supportive role in this formula to keep healthy levels of uric acid and aids the body to metabolize (through the liver) and excrete normal amounts of waste products and water
- Horsetail herb (Equisetum arvense)*: This prehistoric plant contains high amounts of silica, an important mineral for joints and bones. Also rich in bioflavonoids, it has the ability to protect cells and connective tissue.
- Alfalfa herb (Medicago sativa)*: The nutrition found in Alfalfa has particular usefulness for joints in that it helps to keep the blood more alkaline (rather than acidic). Acidic conditions can work against joint health.
- Yucca root (Yucca glauca)**: Native to Mexico, Yucca root is a food source plant containing valuable phytochemicals for use with joints (steroidal saponins and reservatrol).
- Dandelion leaf (Taraxacum officinale)*: Somewhat similar to the action of the root, the leaf of this plant has an affinity to allow normal excretion through the kidneys, flushing out waste products and excess water.
- Boswellia gum (Boswellia serrata)†: Agile Joints contains a small amount of Boswellia gum. This potent resin, containing boswellic acid, has been studied for its powerful affect on joint health.
- Bromelain: Commonly used for digestion, this enzyme from pineapple stems is also aptly utilized for maintaining joint agility. Bromelain, containing proteolytic enzymes, has been used to support sports injuries and for normal recovery following orthopedic surgery.
