What to do right away
- Try to figure out what caused your dog's diarrhea. If he's eaten something highly toxic, get him to a vet immediately.
- Ensure your dog is taking in fluids, to fight off dehydration.
- Get a healthy, helpful product like Canine Plantaeris.
Canine Plantaeris is among our most popular products, and for good reason!
- Helps regulates your dog's intestinal functions
- Supports the healing process
- Helps maintain the immune system
- Supports overall health
- All natural, herbal ingredients
- Gentle for long-term use
What is dog diarrhea?
Diarrhea – the frequent and urgent passage of liquid stools – is how your dog's body protects itself from ingested toxins. Food is forced to pass through the system quickly. Liquids are expelled before the colon has a chance to absorb them, which is what causes both the liquid feces and dehydration.
If your dog has diarrhea, it will be all-too obvious. Symptoms include:
- Loose, liquid and frequent bowel movements
- Mucous in dog's stools
- Possible blood in dog's stools
- Possible dehydration
Natural, herbal supplement: Plantaeris
Plantaeris is useful in helping with the symptoms of dog diarrhea. It helps regulate a dog's intestinal functions. Your dog will look and feel much better quickly! Plantaeris is one of our best-loved products.
Doctor-formulated and vet-approved
Plantaeris was painstakingly formulated by a leading naturopathic veterinarian. It is gentle yet potent, without any known side effects. Don't let your dog suffer from the symptoms of diarrhea any longer. Order Plantaeris today.

"Hello, I felt I just had to write to you regarding Plantaeris. I got this for my Pomeranian puppy who has had chronic diarrhea ever since we got her at 10 weeks of age--(She is now 10 months old). I have tried prescription meds, home remedies, digestive enzymes, and even resorted to buying the most expensive organic, raw dog food I could find but nothing has worked. I am thrilled to report that Plantaeris is our answer! We started her on it about 2 weeks ago and her stool is already very close to being normal. She also now has the ability to wait to go outside--I can't tell you how happy I am that our puppy is healthier and we don't have to deal with the clean-up issue any longer! THANK YOU!!!!"
Heidi, Philadelphia, PA
"wonderful........after first dosage, within an hour, she felt alot better. Its happened twice so far where nothing else worked but this product."
"THE PLANTARIS WAS A BIG HELP IN GETTING IT UNDER CONTROL - DOESN'T EVEN NEED IT EVERYDAY NOW!!"
"We're on our 2nd bottle of Plantaeris. We just put a few drops in his food. It has made a "huge" improvement in his quality of life. It also helps his appetite. Prefer it to the stuff from the vet."

I was having a terrible time with my dog's colitis. She was vomiting and passing blood. She'd be better for a few days & then have a lot of trouble again. The best thing I got from the vet were little herbal pills but I had to wrap 7 of them in her canned dog food 2x a day which I found disgusting. Trying to understand how to better help her I looked up Canine colic on-line and an ad for Canine Plantaeris came up. I thought it was too expensive, not knowing whether it would work. The next day I decided to try it and am I ever glad I did! It requires such a small dose and is easy to apply to her food. It's very effective. She's had almost no trouble since I started her on it. It's easy to squirt a dose in her mouth if she chooses not to eat her food. I haven't noticed any side effects and her stool has remained firm, no more blood or mucus. There are no cons I can say about it. Since she's only 8 lbs the small dose needed makes it very cost effective to use. I've already referred another dog owner to your site for her dog's health problem.

My 4 year old Shih Tzu has had diarrhea for many months, the vet tryed change in diet, flagyl and other things but it always returned. Now with only two days of use I have seen a marked improvement in her energy level and overall well being plus her stool is firming up which is a good sign. I will retort again in a month.

Comments about NHV Plantaeris for Dog Diarrhea:
After spending lots of money at the vet and never seeing any positive results, I reluctantly bought and tried this product. I didn't have high hopes that it would help my dog since no other product, prescription or over the counter, had helped. My dog, a 14 year old yorkie, had diarrhea for months and nothing I tried would make it stop. I was on the verge of losing my mind and I just did not think I could clean up diarrhea one more time. I found this product by searching the internet and I am so thankful that I did. Within 2 days, my dogs diarrhea stopped and he started gaining weight and becoming healthy again. These drops are truly miraculous. If you are contemplating buying this product , please do. It will save your dogs life. It saved my dog. After 1 month of using the product his bowel movements are perfectly normal. I am so grateful to the makers of this product and to everyone that left reviews convincing me to buy it.

Comments about NHV Plantaeris for Dog Diarrhea:
My 3 dogs had diarrhea at the same time and after one does of Plantaeris it cleared them right up. I now give each dog a couple drops a day in their food. It keeps their stool firm and it seems to also have less odor. Although at first glance it seems expensive, so little is used, it lasts a long time. I would highly recommend all dog owners to have this on hand!

Comments about NHV Plantaeris for Dog Diarrhea:
Our 12-year old Cairn Terrier, Bennie, had increasing problems with gas and diarrhea. He was on sensitive-stomach dog food, but there still were problems. I sat up all night with him on several occasions, because the bouts of explosive diarrhea just wouldn't stop.
I was initially reluctant to try a product that I had found on the Internet. But I asked our vet about Plantaeris, and she checked out the ingredients on the Website and said she didn't see anything that could hurt him. So, we gave it a try.
It started working immediately. What a relief for both us and Bennie! He has been taking the product daily with meals for more than a year, and we continue to be very happy. Bennie still has a sensitive stomach (and is always searching for scraps on the kitchen floor!), so he will occasionally have a loose stool, but it is always resolved by his next BM. This product works!

All three of my dogs had diarrhea at the same time. I saw the reviews for this product and immediately ordered it. After the first day their diarrhea cleared up. I now give them a couple drops each a day (in their food) and their stools are hard (not too hard!) and have very little smell. It seems expensive, but you need very little so a bottle lasts a long time.

My 11 month old Lab has had diarrhea issues, sometimes with blood since a small puppy (his sire had similiar problems). Vet work ups have always been negative. I began plantaeris about 6 months ago and it has worked beautifully.
I recently tried a trial off the supplement and the diarrhea began again with a vengence.
I am a Family Physician, feed my dogs very high quality food and supplements and highly recommend this product.

Comments about NHV Plantaeris for Dog Diarrhea:
I have a 3 year old shar-pei.During a whole year he suffered from diarrhea. He got different types of treatments, which helped just for a short period of time. "Helped" meaning his stool was better,it wasn't liquid but still not normal. I also tried different types of food that the vets recommended me like, nothing helped, the diarrhea always came back.
My dog lost a lot of weight, he felt weak, he lost his appetite and slept all day long.
I was desperate to help my dog, and i bumped into this website and i found Plantearis. I read all the comments and I decided to try it out and it WORKED LIKE A MIRACLE!!! His stool is normal again, he gain weight, he has a good appetite and he is more energetic. I also keep cooking for him: fish, turkey or chicken breast, potatoes and pumpkin (great against diarrhea).
I highly recommend this product.

Comments about NHV Plantaeris for Dog Diarrhea:
Our dog Echo, a Presa Canario, has had diarreah for 5 wks. We tried everything to no avail. Then I read the reviews on Plantaeris and decided to try it, even though I thought it a little pricey.
The very first night I gave it to her, I fully expected to have the scurge visit us again, BUT Bingo!...no diarreah! I felt like dancing! It was the first good nights sleep my hubby and I had gotten in weeks....not to mention the clean-up and aroma that accompanies Diarreah.
It's been 5 days ....5 glorious days AND Echo is putting on weight! She's finishing her meals and licking the bowl!
She's feeling so much better and so are we.
Thank you so much for a wonderful product.!

Comments about NHV Plantaeris for Dog Diarrhea:
My lab pup has had loose stools, often many, since he was only 5-6 weeks old. His sire had the same problem and both had been worked up for health issues, all negative.
I was at my wit's end as he was messing in his crate twice a day every day although he potty trained nicely.
The plantaeris worked with a few days and I keep him on it twice a day.
His crate stays clean.

Comments about NHV Plantaeris for Dog Diarrhea:
I adopted a young Golden Retriever, BudZee, 6 months ago and he has suffered bouts of diarrhea and loose stool off and on since I got him. He was wormed twice before I got him and then again just recently and because he has such a sensitive digestive system, anything out of the ordinary works against him. I have used several formulas from this great company and have been thrilled with all of them so tried the Plantaeris and it is wonderful. I still add pumpkin to his food when he gets a bout but they are becoming more infrequent as I continue my quest to determine his allergy demon. I also have used the Plantaeris with my old dog Harley with same success. And they like the taste!

A couple of years ago our small older dog started having intestinal problems. After many visits to the vet (who is very good but could not find what was wrong) we found this product online and decided to give it a try. Comments about NHV Plantaeris for Dog Diarrhea:
I initially order this for my year-old cat that had er surgery and diarrhea was keeping her from recovering. I also have a 5 year old "grand dog" ,Izzy, with chronic diarrhea and has frequent bouts with pancreatitis. This product worked amazingly well for both situations. I had tryed so many things with Izzy, and none had worked. Special diets. other meds (suggested by vet), and to no avail. One dose of this stopped her diarrhea. I'm so grateful to find this product, and to whoever developed it, and for those producing it, and making it available to us. If you are at your "wit's end"....try this product. I hope your results are as AMAZING as mine! My pets feel so much better...as do I!

Comments about NHV Plantaeris for Dog Diarrhea:
Just wanted to say how pleased I am with this product. I usually am too lazy to write reviews but felt I owed sharing my thoughts on this since it helped my Zoe so much. My little dog had chronic diarrhea for about 30 days, despite our visits to the vet, antibiotics, feeding rice and chicken only, immodium AD, and a stool sample testing that showed no serious conditions. There was always blood and mucus in her stools, many were runny, she would barely drink water and would go in the house. Then it went the other way- she hardly wanted to poop at all and went 3 days without having a bowel movement even though she was eating normally. I was very worried about to try again with the vet who didnt help the first time when I started reading online and stumbled upon this product. I gave it to Zoe and her stools got firmer by the NEXT day. She is doing much better now, no diarrhea, regular bowel movements, and no blood, and I am so thankful for this product that saved my special girl. It is a miracle bottle I think! If it helped my dog I know it can help yours. Thanks plantaeris!

Question:
Am searching for alternative diarrhea treatments for our Anna who is a small Saint Bernard. We've changed her diet to the point that her regular diet is boiled chicken and rice, pumpkin, a small amount of wheat-free, natural treats and yogurt. Sounds like Platnaeris may help. Do we give it to her when she is experiencing symptoms? Also, should we put her back on a wheat-free dog food to supplement her chicken and rice?
ThxAsked on 12/22/2011 by Barb from Silver Springs, MD1 answer
Answer:
Plantaeris is to be used on a daily basis to help maintain intestinal functions and clear up diarrhea. We do have customers that drop down to a smaller dosage when their pet's diarrhea has cleared up and maintain administering the supplement daily as it is a great immune support.
As for diet we here at PetWellbeing always suggest raw or dehydrated food as these kinds of foods contain the most nutrients for your pet. For pet's with sensitive stomachs we would suggest Love by Honest Kitchen: http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/love-dog-food
This particular food is grain and gluten free and contains many ingredients great for your pet's digestive system. If you are not interested in trying this dehydrated food, I would suggest basing Anna's diet off this particular blend as chicken and rice does not contain enough nutrients your pet needs on a day to day basis.
Love can be fed alone or as a supplement to any homemade food diet that your pet currently enjoys. Raw dehydrated food is different from the more conventional kibble or even cooked and processed foods, it is important to allow enough time for your pet to adjust to the change in diet.Answered on 12/22/2011 by Coreena

Our 11 month old Yorkie (3 pounds 2 ounces) has a recurring problem with loose stools. Appetite seems normal. Has been to the vet, no health issues. Would this product help?Asked on 12/22/2011 by Xena from Plano Tx1 answer
Answer:
This is a great product for pets who suffer from chronic issues. The ingredients in this formula help to reduce inflammation and promote healthy digestion. Inflammation can often be caused by food sensitivities, resulting in chronic conditions such as diarrhea. You can see the full ingredient list and what they do here: http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/dog-diarrhea#ingredients and you might also like to look at our Honest Kitchen foods if you suspect this might be related to a food sensitivity: http://search.petwellbeing.com/search?w=honest+kitchen+dog&asug=Answered on 12/22/2011 by Diane from CRS office

Question:
I have been giving my Cairn terrier Plantaeris for about a month now and I love it! It instantly helped with her diarrhea. My question is: I accidently left it out of the fridge for a day, is it still okay to feed it to her, or is it spoiled?Asked on 12/15/2011 by Candy from Seattle, WA1 answer
Answer:
We are so glad to hear about your pet feeling better! Generally leaving a supplement out for a day is completely fine. Since all of our products are all natural they have a very sour and distinct smell if they have spoiled. If you do not notice a distinct change in the smell it is completely safe to administer to your pet.Answered on 12/19/2011 by Anonymous
Question:
My 13 yr old, 47# mixed breed dog (he looks like a Finnish Spitz) had surgery 18 months ago for carcinoma of the ilium. Much, if not most, of his intestinal tract was removed. He has been checked with ultrasound, x-rays, blood tests, physical exams, etc.. every 2 mos. since, and has been cancer free. He is on loperimide (with his oncologist's permission) several times a day, to control the resulting diarrhea (from surgery). I was giving him 2 whole tablets/day (1/w/ea/meal). Then I went to 3 per day. Now I am giving him 6/day, but he has constant runny diarrhea, and I can tell he is uncomfortable. Also, I give him probiotics. Do you think Plantaeris could help him?
Carolyn RambergAsked on 12/10/2011 by Carolyn from Columbus, Ohio1 answer
Answer:
You are very welcome to use the Plantaeris in conjunction with all medications and supplements listed. Once the Plantaeris is absorbed into the system it can help control diarrhea. It also supports the immune system and can regulate your dog's intestinal functions which may help with the discomfort he is feeling.Answered on 12/12/2011 by Anonymous
