Our 7 month old malamute puppy had had worsening loose bowels from when she was tiny. The vet gave her antibiotics for it which of course worsened the condition, destroying her natural flora/immune system. We used this along with a strict diet of organic canned pumpkin, boiled organic chicken and organic rice. This did the trick - she had consistantly solid feces for the first time in her short life and has had so in the four monthes since her treatment. (We used two bottles up and then discontinued the treatment. It cost the same as antibiotics from the vets and is much healthier. She is having some trouble again now, so we're ordering it again. This time we'll try it along with her usual diet of dry dog food and see if it works just as well.

My 4 year old Shih Tzu has had diarrhea for many months, the vet tryed change in diet, flagyl and other things but it always returned. Now with only two days of use I have seen a marked improvement in her energy level and overall well being plus her stool is firming up which is a good sign. I will retort again in a month.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing BM Tone-Up Gold - Dog Diarrhea Support:
I have tried many other products including perscription drugs and I find that BM Tone-Up is the only one that works for my 4 1/2 year old Standard Poodle. I give it to him 2x a day in his food and his stools are regular. Without it they become looser.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing BM Tone-Up Gold - Dog Diarrhea Support:
From the outset, my boxer puppy has had diarrhea on and off. Just like my last Boxer. He is hypersensitive to his environment and I think it upsets his belly. He's been to the vet many times and been prescribed many broad spectrum things. None have permanently fixed his diarrhea.
While this did not permanently resolve his issue (I use it when needed), I feel better about giving him a natural remedy as oppose to antibiotics that never worked anyway.
Great product.

This product is very good on some of my cats but not on one of my kittens. It stopped diarrhea on a cat which I have tried everything and nothing worked. Now her stools are fine. I tried on another cat and now he's fine too. But when I tried on one of my kitten it didn't work.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing BM Tone-Up Gold - Dog Diarrhea Support:
One of my golden retrievers had struggled with diahrea and irritated colon for 90 days after a bout with tape worm. I was unable to keep her on dog food and was using meat and rice to stop the diahrea. Within three days (two doses a day adjusted to dogs weight) she had great relief and began to be her old playful self with her sister...got her smile back and you know how goldies love to smile. She is now back on a grain free dog food with no problems. I did keep her on this for a month as her condition had lasted so long and I was switching her food. Now I just use as needed with either of them. It does not constipate. I have recommended this to my friend who is having problems with her dog. GREAT PRODUCT. Showed to my vet and she was impressed with the results.

My 12 1/2 yr old Shih Tzu has been struggling with loose stool issues for almost a year. Numerous vet visits, meds, bills. Nothing lasted more that a week or two at most. Out of frustration I went on-line to research and found this product. A few drops twice a day right on the food-that easy. Worked right away and is still working. He's happier and so are we. Will be sharing with our Vet at next visit in hopes that others may benefit from this product.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing BM Tone-Up Gold - Dog Diarrhea Support:
We have a 5 yr old cavalier king charles. After about 3 months of diaarhea, trying several times at the vet, we tried bone up gold. After about 3 days it worked. We kept her on it for about a month and weaned her off of it. So far, no relapse. I truly believe that this product works. We noticed that she had no problem eating it with her food.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing BM Tone-Up Gold - Dog Diarrhea Support:
Initially, when a problem would arise due to dietary indiscretion or just some GI sensitivity, I'd administer as suggested (twice a day). I haven't needed to keep any of my dogs on this product long-term, but now use it when loose stool is noticed instead of reaching for the metro right away. I realize that it may not work in all situations, but it's well worth a try. No side effects noted.

After trials with Dr. medications, bland diet and everything else you could think of, I used Bone Up for the first time with my 4 year old Standard Poodle when he got diarrhea. It was the only thing that controlled it and I have been using it ever since. I use it daily in his food and he seems to love it.
Thank you Pet Wellbeing.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing BM Tone-Up Gold - Dog Diarrhea Support:
My dog gets occasional diarrhea when he eats something that doesn't agree with his stomach. This works really well to take the edge off so that he does not become dehydrated. I also like that it has natural ingredients that help heal and sooth the intestinal tract after its been upset. Give it by mouth with syringe, dog hates the taste but it works and he is happy when he gets a little treat after and I am happy not to have a mess to clean up.

We had been dealing with loose stool with our chocolate lab for over a year. After $$$ spent at the vet, changing food and feeling frustrated we thought let's try it.I have to say this is the only thing that has helped him. He gets it before every meal and so far so good. I will be ordering more and keeping him on it as a preventative.

Description
What is BM Tone-Up Gold?
This all-natural supplement is uniquely designed to address the digestive system of a dog when there is occasional imbalance. A dogs specific needs are addressed in this comprehensive formula.
What is BM Tone-Up Gold used for?
Whether there has been dietary indiscretion or another common, potential cause for the imbalance to the digestive system, BM Tone-Up Gold supports both the immune system and the gastrointestinal system of your dog. The results should be a more normal transit time of food and water through the digestive tract, less frequent urges, and solid bowel movements.
The digestive tract is one of the body’s main areas of defense to deal with foreign microbes and irritants of all kinds. Occasionally, our dogs will ingest or be exposed to articles they are not able to digest properly. Their bodys natural mechanisms work to expel the matter by increasing the muscle contractions of the intestines and flushing out the system. Because motility time is increased, the body does not have time to absorb as much water and the stools become more liquid. BM Tone-Up Gold targets the causes of this reaction and soothes the mucosal lining of the digestive tract.
Dog diarrhea is a very common problem and has many causes
- Mild food poisoning from eating spoiled food
- Changes in diet
- Viral infections
- Parasites
- Stress
In many cases, the dog simply has a very sensitive stomach, or is reacting to stressful events such as a changed environment.
Extra tips:
- Ensure that your pet has constant access fresh water.
- Note that bowel changes may also be a sign of food intolerance, sensitivity or allergy.
- Be sure your pet is not overeating.
- Do not feed your pet spoiled food.
- Remove access to garbage or toxic substances.
- If the condition persists or becomes severe, seek veterinary assistance immediately.

Ingredients
- Oregon Grape root (Berberis aquifolium)**: This common North American herb has a specific affinity for the digestive system. It assists the normal function of the liver to pull toxicities from the blood as it passes through the liver. It also supports the muscles of the intestines to contract in a normal, smooth rhythm that is not spastic and uncomfortable.
- Red Raspberry leaf (Rubus idaeus)*: One of the main herbs to tone and astringe the smooth lining of the intestines due to its tannin content. It may also work to normalize excess secretions, such as mucous. It is high in minerals and contains a naturally occurring amount of Vitamin C. This gentle herb’s action on the muscles makes it useful for erratic muscle contractions.
- Bayberry root (Myrica cerifera)**: A specific herb for this formula, Bayberry has a dual action to address potential microbes that may have entered the body through dietary indiscretion and also has a high tannin content to address the affects and possible excess mucous, within the digestive lining.
- Mullein leaf (Verbascum thapsus)**: With uses in many different areas of the body, Mullein’s inclusion in this formula is to impart an action on the lining and muscles of the gastrointestinal tract. Additionally, it has been used for lymphatic circulation and when there is excess mucous production in the body.
- Agrimony herb (Agrimonia eupatoria)**: Another plant containing tannins (astringent). Agrimony supports the digestive tract’s normal tone and assimilation of food.
- Marshmallow root (Althea officinalis)*: The root of this plant contains high mucilage content and it is this constituent that provides a soothing action to the mucous membranes.
- Myrrh resin (Commiphora mol-mol): Due to its strong taste, only a small amount can be used in this formula, but its inclusion is exceedingly helpful for cats when foreign microbes enter the body.
- Thyme leaf (Thymus vulgaris)*: A common kitchen herb, a small amount of Thyme combines well with Myrrh to address similar issues.
- Ginger rhizome (Zingiber officinalis)*: In many formulas, the addition of a little Ginger increases the formula’s ability to circulate where it is most needed. It also helps with nausea and digestion.
Total of 400 mg per ml (20 drops/ml).
Herbs are *certified organic or **ethically wild harvested.
