Description
What is dog hyperthyroidism?
Hyperthyroid pets often lose weight despite a normal appetite and become nervous and irritable. For several days they may be hyperactive and have a rapid heart beat, then lethargic, apathetic and uninterested in food, play or grooming. Thyroid imbalances are extremely common in North American pets. In cats, the problem is most often an overactive thyroid. In dogs, it’s the opposite: hypothyroidism (an under active thyroid) is much more widespread.
Symptoms of canine hyperthyroidism:
- Hyperactivity
- Weight loss
- Increased appetite
- Vomiting or diarrhea
Canine Resthyro is an all natural herbal tonic, carefully crafted to balance thyroid hyperactivity.
Our customers have the last word...
"Before Resthyro Ziggy's weight was down, his fur was dull and matted. I could see a change in his all over well being. In approx. 2 weeks after giving Resthyro I saw a noticeable improvement, and now with some TLC and and the Resthyro he has gained weight and his temperament and fur has improved at least 85%."
"Yes, the vets spent six months trying to help him. Now, we've had him on this two months and he's almost ready to be off of the xanax the vet prescribed him for the anxiety the high thyroid caused him. He had noticeable changes within one week of taking this mix."
Testimonial
"Yes, she seems much better since I started her on Resthyro. She
didn't tolerate the regular medication from the vet, but seems to
be doing quite well now. Plus, I can just mix it with her food, so
she doesn't even know she's getting it."

Comments about NHV Resthyro for Dog Hyperthyroidism:
My dog was a mental case! Jack Russell that I adopted at age 4 and was obviously abused. He bit everyone. went from spastic, crazy to cuddly calm loving without warning. I began researching his symptoms and decided to try this product as most of his symptoms pointed to thyroid imbalance. after only 3 days of use he mellowed to a fairly normal dog. I can now trust him around other people. He has become a true part of the family. I even tried to take him off of it just to test the product. after only 5 days he began his agressive behavior again biting and growling at the family. I did back him down to a mainenance dose of 11-12 drops 1 time per day once he calmed down. He is only 20 lbs and is very sensitive to medications. that dose seems to work perfect for him

Comments about NHV Resthyro for Dog Hyperthyroidism:
Used the vet medicine, and my cat's kidneys stopped working; twice I stopped giving it the meds, so that his kidneys would work. He kept loosing weight.
Found Resthyro, and started giving him drops every time he is feed wet food. He has put on 3 pounds, and is playing, and has stopped pulling out his fur.
Obviously, he medicine that the vet gave, will shut down the kidneys, or the cat will waste away.
My cat thanks you.

Question:
My dog has secondary thyroid disease resulting from CKF. He is skinny as a rail. Will this product help?Asked on 1/16/2012 by Anonymous from Union CIty, TN1 answer
Answer:
Our Resthyro product can assist in inhibiting thyroid activity by blocking the TSH receptors which in turn improves digestion. This product is specifically for hypERthyroidism and not hypOthyroidism so it is critical for you to ensure which type of thyroid condition your dog has before beginning any new remedies. The Resthyro is also not to be used in conjunction with other thyroid medications.
That being said, the weight loss your dog is experiencing is most likely due to the chronic kidney failure. I would highly suggest our Tripsy for Dog Kidney Disease product that can be found here: http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/dog-kidney-diseaseAnswered on 1/17/2012 by Mgr Customer Care from CSR Office
