My dog is almost 15 years old and she has had a history of extremely high liver levels. For the last 6 months, I have been using milk thistle in her dinner along with some other natural supplements and monthly acupuncture. The last time I had her blood work done, we saw a significant decrease in her liver levels. I believe the milk thistle along with the other natural treatments are making a huge difference and prolonging my dog's life! She is my baby and I want her around as long as possible, especially because we're expecting our first child in less than a month!! Thank you! :)

Too bad they didn't just keep the product size at 3.4 oz's and just raise the price. I know basic ingredients have gone up, but this is almost double in price now. No other competition out there to offset this dilema.

My little dog is 16 years old. She got liver disease. It cost me $600. at the vets. She stayed there for a week, could't eat with IV's. They couldn"t do anything else for her so I took her home. She was near death. I orderd milk thistle and payed $21.00 for fast shipping. I thought she was going to die any minute. I gave her the milk thistle as soon as I got it. She got better in 3 days. Still doing great. It's a wonderful product.

My 14 yr old lab, Otis, was diagnosed with liver cancer aprox 1 month ago . I was not given an estimated time frame for him but assumed it would not be very long at his advanced age. It's been over a month now & he is doing very well. His appetite is in full force & he seems happy, comfortable & not in any discomfort. I will continue with this product as long as I can for Otis & any future dogs I may get. Great product!

This product is great and I'm so glad I found it! This has done wonders for my 10 yr old lab. At one point we thought we were going to lose her as her liver values were so high. This product in conjunction with the prednisone the Vet prescribed has completely turned her prognosis around. She is back to her old self and her liver values are back in the normal range. She will be around for many more years to come and we couldn't be any happier! Thank you for this product please don't ever get rid of it!

This milk thistle made a difference! I switched to another product containing milk thistle when I was unable to get this one.
I didn't know how effective this product was until I began using it again. My dog's energy level changed after one day. I couldn't believe it! She has been better ever since.

When my dog was 2 years her blood work came back with problems with here liver. She is 7 now and last bloodwork came back normal.

I administer this product to my chocolate lab since his vet visit two months ago indicated a higher than normal liver function rating. I believe that this medication helped him because we just had him back at the vet for a re-check and it's back to normal. I am continuing to give it to him as a maintenance medication.

I currently have my 13 yr old Shepherd X on the Milk Thistle and also a 5 yr old very overweight foster kitty who is now benefitting from this liquid wonder. What I love about the Pet Wellbeing products is the fact that being a liquid, they can be hidden in a wee bit of wet food. I recommended the Milk Thistle for a friends old 14 yr old dog and he is improving also. Now all 3 pets are improving, eating better and generally having better health. With 2 pets on the product, I wish that larger bottles would be made available for these wonderful products. I go thru remedies very quickly as I have a plethora of pets :)

My chocolate lab had a blood test which came back with a slightly higher than normal liver reading. I started him on Milk Thistle for liver disease and in 3 months we were back at the vet for another test. It was normal. I am convinced that Milk Thistle helped him get back on track. Milk Thistle is really important for a dog on Chemo therapy such as my dog Daisy. Chemo damages organs in the body and milk thistel helps protect from that damage the chemo does. I have been giving Daisy her milk thistle along with other cancer products sold here since we found out she had cancer in order to boost her immune syster for that harsh chemo we knew would be coming her way :(

I just add the drops on a spoon and feed them to her! She seems to like it as she licks it all up!

I have a dog that has Addison's. This is different from Cushings. I emailed PetWellBeing and was told to use milk thistle. Right now, because I don't know how well her adrenals are functioning, I also add part of an adrenal support capsule daily along with this. I get this at a health food place as I cannot find one for dogs. (I use human supplement) Nicole is doing great. She is past 6 weeks of having to get a steroid injection. She is eating fine and her energy level is up there.

once i got the correct dose for my lab she seems to be better at least she seems to like it.hopefully my results are as good as some of the ones i read, the only issue i had that to figure out the right dosage for your dog was very hard! once i emailed they responded very quickly and answered my question. only recommendation is that they enclose better directions on your dogs weight compared to the dropper they provide.

It was hard when my Sheltie "Ozzie" was found to have a liver disease. His vet put him on the Denamarin tablets. He had to have 1 1/2 tablets each morning and he had to wait an hr after taking pills before he could eat. My dog hates pills and it was very hard on the both of us. I had to do something so I did a search on the Internet and found this product. I sent it over to my vet and she sd to go ahead and try this. I put 1ml in his food in the morning and evening and he eats. His levels are almost back to normal. He has been on this since May 2011.

Our dog is almost 12 and weighs about 17 lbs.She was diagnosed over a year ago with very high liver enzymes. We started her out on special dogfood for liver problems and I also used Milk Thistle and liquid SamE. I use Milk Thistle and SamE every day and when I forgot a day or two, Daisy began to throw up more often. She just had a blood test a month ago and, unfortuneatly, her liver enzymes were still very high. I believe the Milk Thistle, special dogfood and SamE have helped keep her liver as stable as it is going to get right now. She seems fine, drinks more water, but has energy and still wants to go for walks. I would recommend trying Milk Thistle, if even to maintain the quality of liver functioning. Daisy isn't crazy about the taste, but since it's in liquid form, I can easily use the dropper to dispense it. I have a very strong feeling that if I hadn't used Milk Thistle, SamE and the special dogfood, she would not be with us today.

I have been using this product for more than 5 years now, even before my Vet recommended this product to me. My Angel (beagle) was diagnosed with epileptic seizure disorder since she was barely two years old. To prevent the seizures, she was prescribed phenobarbital. After years of taking this medication, I was concerned on the effects of the medication on her liver. After thorough research, I stumbled on this product. When I went to see the Vet again, I mentioned to her my concern (liver toxicity due to medication) but did not tell her I was already using Milk Thistle. Ordered this product after doing some internet research on dogs with liver disease. Our 13 year old Scottie has been diagnosed with liver disease but we do not want to put him through a liver biopsy so was looking for a supplement that might help him. We have gone through our first bottle and have just received our second shipment and are so pleased with the results. Before we started him on the Milk Thistle, he was just sleeping most of the day....now he is so much more alert and even bounces around and plays like he did years ago!! This product works EXCELLENT!!! My 10 year old Jack Russell was sooo close to dying:he wouldn't eat, drink or go to the bathroom and he was sooo sick!!! This went on for a little while we had taken him into the vet, he had to have some of his teeth pulled due to bacteria from his teeth and the vet also did a biopsy on his liver, which we found out is compromised and we thought we were going to have to put him down. The vet prescribed liver pills, but the side effects for this medication would be hard on his liver!! What good would this do, his liver is already in rough shape!! So that night I went online and found out about milk thistle. I went to the health stores because you can get it for humans and canines, but they only had milk thistle for humans. I was desperate, my dog was dying, I went to another vet that offered holistic healing, but they did not have any milk thistle for canine's. I went back onto the internet and google milk thistle for canine's and this is when I found this AWESOME product!!! I ordered it, I received the product in 2 days, started feeding my Jack this and he is with us today back to his hyper, hungry self!!! Before using Milk Thistle, Our 14 year old Apsa mix was on her way to death. She was having seizures and was like a rag doll, I had to carry her to potty and we just did not know what to do for her, the Vet told us it was the end of her life and that we should bring her in so they could help her die in comfort. She was taking 5 Meds at the time and quit eating, lost weight to the point that she was skin and bones. At last resort, we discontinued all Meds and went on Milk Thistle twice per day. It has been about three weeks now, and she has gotten her appetite back like normal, she is walking on her own, no seizures, and almost back to complete normal. I would recommend this product any time. We are very thankful that we discovered this product. It saved our dogs life.
