The vet usually recommends steroids, which certainly work, but I don't like to use them unless absolutely necessary. I would recommend the product conditionally.

Comments about Pet Wellbeing Itchy Owie Ointment for dog paws and skin:
Light emollient with healing herbs, so useful, soothing for almost any skin issue, wound or irritation. Very effective for alleviating/minimizing callouses on elbows, which get chapped/peely/itchy even out here in the pacific northwest during winter.

Translating from French for my neighbours who bought this product: our dog has ongoing issues with fungus infections & mushrooms in her ears and on her bum.
Application of this cream saw results in as little as 3-4 days! The mushrooms shrank & disappeared, immediately alleviating the constant pain and irritation she suffered on a daily basis. She is now happier and experiencing much less discomfort, and actually welcomes us when we go to put on the cream, when before she used to cower and cringe when it came to treatment time.
Clearly this product has had an immediate and positive effect on our dog, her health & her mental state (being less irritable due to being in less pain). Highly recommended!!

Our dog had a wound from a boarding kennel and it had taken a while to heal up. It was mostly healed but when I put this on, the skin became nice and soft. I also put it on his flaky skin and it worked very well.

Our older dog has a spot on his legs that he won't leave alone. This seems to help when I notice him licking. It must calm his skin down soon because he relaxes more and quits licking.

My yorkies all have dry skin which causes them To scratch constantly. One sctached so much he started to pull out his fur. I found this product and it's natural and safe and I hadto try it. I apply it close to 2x a day or when the scratching continued. Not only has the scratching subsided tremendously the fur is growing back.

Great product. Have miniature schnauzer (sp?) that developed severe itching problem. He would scratch and rub his skin raw. This product helped sooth open sores until I discovered his food was causing the problem. Made it through that ordeal with the help of this salve.

Finally, a product that actually stops the itching of rash caused by alergies, heat rash and insect bite. Tried all sorts of creams and lotions, that didn't work. Both my friends would chew themselves raw! At one point they were "living" with e-collars to avoid infections from chewing themselves. Now both are very happy. No more e-collars, no more chewing, no more itching!!!

Comments about Pet Wellbeing Itchy Owie Ointment for dog paws and skin:
I'm sure this salve works well for ordinary skin problems, but it did nothing for my dog Star. She is under a vet's care for seasonal allergies, but I was hoping the salve would bring some relief. Vet's meds and shampoo are working for now, but as soon as we stop, the problem seems chronic.
