Description
Why use a multi vitamin for your dog?
Just like humans, dogs require certain vitamins to maintain proper metabolism and help guard against poor health. Vitamins and nutrients may be obtained through food, directly or indirectly. But sometimes the forms of vitamins found in food are not easily absorbed. For this reason, the nutritional contents listed on dog food packaging can sometimes be misleading.
Canine Multi Essential vitamins will help give your dog the vitamins and nutrients he may not be getting from his food. These carefully chosen herbal extracts provide a superlative source of easily-digested vitamins and minerals. They’ll help your dog stay healthy and active.
Common Symptoms of Vitamin Deficiency

Question:
Hello,
My 14-year old schipperke has been diagnosed with diabetes. She has been on Supraglan & Mellit for three weeks. She is eating homemade meals but is not gaining weight, she has lost two pounds in the three weeks. We have appointment to see the vet about giving her insulin shots to help manage her sugar levels. My question is Should my dog be taking the Multi Essential Dog Vitamins? And will this affect any of the other medication she is taking or the insulin that she will be soon getting?
I look forward to your advice.

Answer:
Multi Essentials is a great way to ensure your pet has all the nutrients they require. While we have not had reports of any problems with taking this product at the same time as insulin or other medications, all of the ingredients are listed so that you can consult with your vet: http://www.petwellbeing.com/products/dog-vitamins#ingredientsAnswered on 11/17/2011 by Customer Care from CSR Office
Question:
What is the amount of Calcium,Phosphorus& magnesum in this productAsked on 11/14/2011 by Anonymous1 answer
Answer:
It is difficult to give you a break down on the amount of vitamins and minerals in the Multi Essentials as they are naturally occurring within the herbs in the formula. We have put in a request with the research department at our facility to see if they can find out an approximate amount of each vitamin and mineral within the herbs. I will contact you personally when we get that information.Answered on 11/16/2011 by Customer Care from CSR Office
Question:
We just found out that our 15 year old pomeranian is in kidney failure. I have him on a homemade diet as he would not eat special kidney food. I am thinking of ordering Tripsy for him and the Multi Essential Dog Vitamins. I notice that some of the ingredients are repeated in both supplements. Should I only have him on the Tripsy or would he benefit from both?
Thank you...Asked on 9/30/2011 by Anonymous from Boston, MA1 answer
Answer:
It is safe to give both of these products together even if some of the ingredients are in both. There will be no problems in doing so and no harm will come to your pet.Answered on 10/7/2011 by Customer Care from CSR Office
