Description
What is Inulin PK?
Inulin PK is an all natural herbal formula that has been designed to fight roundworm, hookworm, and other intestinal parasites, and helps to heal the damage caused by them. Parasites/worms can rob the body of vital nutrients needed for a healthy happy cat life. Inulin PK promotes healing, clears toxins, protects and strengthens the body, and is safe for cats of all ages.
About Internal Parasites
There are a variety of internal parasites, or worms, which can make a home inside your cat’s body. These include roundworms, hookworms, tapeworms, and whip worms, of which roundworm is the most common in cats. Young animals are most susceptible to cat roundworms as they can be transferred to the kitten from its mother through the placenta or breast milk. Pets can also acquire the worm by ingesting contaminated feces or another small animal, such as a rodent, which has worms. Worms can be diagnosed through examination of a stool sample.
The intestinal mucosa is the surface lining of the intestines
where cells absorb nutrients. When worms attack the intestines, an
animal cannot absorb these nutrients. Inulin PK fights worms by
protecting the intestinal mucosa. It also helps to promote healing,
regenerate damaged liver cells and increase immunity so that the
animal’s body can fight and acquire resistance to the
parasite.
Common Symptoms of Worms
- Anemia and poor weight-gain
- Apathy
- Diarrhea with dark, foul-smelling feces
- Swollen abdomen (kittens)
- Poor appetite
- Loss of energy

Comments about NHV Inulin PK for Cat Worms:
I have three cats that I needed to worm with this medication; a 4 year old cat, a two year old cat and a 8 month old (approx) kitten. This medicine was safe to give to them all and incredibly effective. We recently got my two year old cat from the rescue and she came with a few small problems, including ear infections in both ears and a very heavy case of worms. We didn't catch the worms at first. We knew something was wrong when she was starting to become lethargic and sad and just wasn't her loving, affectionate self. Then one morning she puked up her food and it was infested with worms. I didn't have the money to take her back to the vet since she had just been there (can get quite expensive, anyone who owns a pet would know!) so I went online and researched what would be the best thing to buy possibly over the counter, without having to take her back to the vet. I found this site and though I was skeptical at first, I read a few reviews for different products they sell and I figured it couldn't hurt to try. Let me tell you, best decision I ever made! Within four days my kitty was purring and happy again, eating normal and there was no signs of worms in her poop. I continued to treat her for another three days, just to be sure, but this de-wormer worked a miracle on her. It was easy to give to her (bottle comes with a dropper; just squarted a little in her mouth twice a day before she ate) and it was gentle. Didn't have a harsh smell or taste, and she (or either of my other two cats) didn't seem to mind the taste much. I would highly recommend this to anyone whos kitty has a worm problem! Thank you so much!

Exactly which worms or paracites is NHV effective on? And which worms or paracites is it not effective on?Asked on 1/23/2012 by Anonymous from Wingdale, NY1 answer
Answer:
Our Inulin PK is effective for roundworms, hookworms, tapeworms, and whip worms, of which roundworm is the most common in cats. This supplement would not be appropriate for parasites such as Giardia or Coccidia. Keep in mind that every pet is different, and so is the degree of alignment. Results will vary, but you should see improvements anywhere from 2 days to a few weeks. Remember holistic supplements need to be absorbed into the system for them to work at their full potential.Answered on 1/24/2012 by Coreena
Question:
I have just read online that lung problems in cats could be a parasite in the lung Would this work for that?Asked on 1/17/2012 by Anonymous1 answer
Answer:
The Inulin PK may be helpful if it is indeed a parasite within the lungs. I would suggest consulting with your vet to be sure that is the diagnosis as there are others reasons that would also cause lung problems within your pet including an infection, heart conditions, pneumonia, etc.Answered on 1/18/2012 by Coreena
Question:
I have some rescue kittens in which revolution was applied two months in a row. Should I use this product as a back up in case they are still carrying the roundworms? And how many days after the revolution is Inulin safe to apply?Asked on 1/15/2012 by Anonymous1 answer
Answer:
I would suggest to wait until you are finished using the Revolution to see if there are still roundworms present as our Inulin PK is only for pets that have ringworms or other parasites present. If you do decide to switch from the Revolution to our Inulin PK I would suggest waiting two weeks before administrating to your pet.Answered on 1/18/2012 by Coreena
Question:
Suspected our kitten's diarrhea was due to stress and or diet change so I ordered the diarrhea treatment - but now realize it more likely is due to worms...ordered the Inulin for that but am wondering if I can give both simultaneously or try Inulin first and use the diarrhea treatment only if Inulin is ineffective?Asked on 12/10/2011 by Anonymous from Tonawanda,NY1 answer
Answer:
Plantaeris and Inulin PK can both be given in conjunction as the herbs do not have any known contraindications nor adverse effects. Plantaeris is effective in regulating the gastrointestinal tract to help alleviate diarrhea and promote regular bowel movements by acting as a natural anti-inflammatory. Inulin PK helps to eradicate parasitic worms from their body and should be used daily for 2 weeks with a 1 - 2 week break in between the next dosage period. Please also note that both products should not be given to a pregnant or lactating cat.Answered on 12/12/2011 by Anonymous
