Description

What is Hairb-Ez?

Hairb-Ez is a 100% herbal supplement that helps to eliminate hairballs and constipation.

Why does your pet have hairballs?

Hairballs can develop as a result of a cat grooming themselves. Tiny hook like structures on your cats tongue catch loose and dead hair which is then swallowed. Majority of this hair will pass through the digestive system with no problems however some of the hair may stay in the stomach and when this happens, a hairball will form. Ultimately, your cat will vomit a hairball to rid the body of it. Hairballs pass through the narrow esophagus and often appear tube like than round. Hairballs appear more often in long-haired breeds but even short-haired cats can be prone if they are avid groomers and/or tend to shed more than some cats as they tend to swallow more fur.

Can Hairb-Ez really help my cat?

We hope so. The ingredients have all been chosen by experts for the benefits they offer your cats digestive tract and bowels.

How long does it take before I see results?

Hairb-Ez should start working quickly depending on how blocked the digestive tract is with loose hair. Give it time to work through the digestive tract and gastrointestinal system.

Does Hairb-Ez cause any side effects?

No, these are just natural herbs. However, do not give Hairb-Ez to your pet if it is pregnant, lactating or has a history of high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes or glaucoma.

Is it difficult to administer?

No. We know how difficult it is to give animals pills. That’s why Hairb-Ez is a liquid and comes with a dropper. You can either add it to your pets food or just put the drops directly in its mouth.

Should I consult my vet before using it?

This is a safe, natural supplement. However, if your vet is prescribing other treatment, it’s always good to check with them before giving it to your pet.

Ingredients

  • Licorice:  A herb that has been used for centuries to support the digestive, respiratory and endocrine system.  The medicinal activities of licorice are anti-inflammatory, mild laxative, lubricates, soothes and protects the mucous membrane and an adrenal stimulant.  An import property is the fact that licorice has the ability to act as a demulcent; it has been used extensively to treat gastrointestinal conditions.  Studies have shown that it increases the effectiveness of other herbs when used in an herbal formulae.  It is also used to protect the liver.
  • Cascara Sagrada:  The bark is high in hydroxyanthraquinone glycosides called cascarosides.  Resins, tannins and lipids make up the bulk of the other bark ingredients.  Cascarosides have a cathartic action that induces the large intestine to increase its muscular contraction (peristalsis), resulting in bowel movement.  It is not considered habit forming as it cleanses, restoring natural tone to the colon.
  • Oregon Grape:  Antimicrobial, stimulates bile production, anti-inflammatory, tonic, antiparasitic.  Strong affinities to the liver, digestive system and mucous membrane.  It works to stimulate the liver by increasing bile production and flow which helps to improve the digestive efficiency.
  • Ginger:  Traditionally, ginger is used for treating flatulent colic and indigestion.  This herb works within the blend to help target the beneficial effects of the formula on the bowel.  It also works effectively in cases of spasms or griping of the bowel.
  • Raspberry:  Raspberry leaf has mild astringent properties.  It is beneficial in treating digestive tract inflammation.  This herb helps to control and balance the effects of this laxative formula on the bowels through its substantial amounts of tannins.  The tannins have an astringent effect to relieve diarrhea.
  • Lobelia:  Traditionally has a mucous thinning property that is beneficial in cases of spastic or dry bowel.  Helpful in cases of griping, colic or bowel spasm.
  • Chinese Rhubarb:  Highly beneficial for constipation.  It increases salivary and gastric flow and cleanses the liver by encouraging bile flow.  It supports colon function and helps to empty the bowel.  This herb also strengthens the gastrintestinal tract.  This herb is best when used in combination with other herbs.
